WiFi does not work – I have has this TV 3-4 years before the wifi receiver died and could no longer use as a smart TV. Is going to cost $300 as a minimum to repair so not worth fixing. Time to look for a new one (not LG)........... Show details

Died after 36 months – My LG tv stopped working after 36 months. Called LG a d they werent interested in telling me what may have caused it and if it was worth getting repaired. They insist i have to pay $110 for their repairer to come out and give aquote. I've searched the internet and seems to be acommon problem with LG once it gets to 2 to 3 years old. Disappointed that a $2600 tv only lasts 3 years. Won't buy an LG again  Show details

Excellent value – If you need a quality yet no-frills upgrade to your ageing LCD television, this is an apt choice - especially with it being a bargain on clearance these days. The LED backlighting & crisp panel makes for enjoyable viewing, and webOS is probably the most well-rounded smart TV OS currently on the market. A little downside is that with excessive… Read more

sunlight, it does have a bit of glare, so either make sure it doesn't face a big window, or invest in blinds. This doesn't detract that this is exceptional value for money - a great buy.

A good introduction to smart tv's – I am happy with the overall performance picture and sound quality. The only thing I am disappointed in is the ability to record shows and the lack of space to record. If you select a show to watch you cannot leave that channel otherwise you will stop the recording and you are not able to change channels at any stage of the recording.  Show details

Fantastic Picture quality for a decent price – I've had this TV for a little over a year now, and its very good quality for the price. The picture quality is fantastic and its incredibly easy to setup. Its also a smart TV so it comes with a bunch of features such as: Mircast Pausing Live TV Recording TV Shows Web Browsing Streaming shows Overall this TV is great however I do wish that it was a little bigger & had a better refresh rate.

Excellent warranty service – I have had the 60" model since November 2015 and really have been very happy with it. Recently my son noticed a column of dull pixels on the screen but I hadn't previously noticed. I reported it to LG under the warranty on the Tuesday, had a technician look at it on the Wednesday and then had a new screen delivered and installed on the Thursday. First class service from LG with zero hassles.

Good value for money – The picture is good as is the sound and if purchased from the Good Guys 1 week later would have been $100's cheaper. Downside is the poor manual, difficulty in using the functions and features of the remote, teething issues setting it up with NBN, an on screen user guide that does not automatically populate with information, sbs on demand that… Read more ·  2

does not populate with information when scrolling across them ( both the former available on the equivalent Sony Bravia). The remote is nowhere as intuitive as the Sony and requires a lot of fiddling to get what you want.

The on screen help is far better than the hardcopy manual but again looks like it was put together by someone who was at the mercy of engineers/IT programmers in Korea or Indonesia.

Is bigger really better? – We recently purchased the 65" version of this TV - the 65LF6300. I have mixed feelings about it. We came from a 7-8 year old 50" Panasonic plasma screen. I know plasma is old technology but I couldn't help feeling that I took a step backwards... the image quality of the Panasonic is far superior to the new LCD LG. I have now spent a LOT of time… Read more

tweaking the image settings of the LG and I have it to the point where the image quality of movies and purchased TV shows (from iTunes) is now very good... as good as the Panasonic - if not even better. Perhaps the only downfall is that the blacks are not as intense (but plasma is renowned for having better blacks).

The image quality of free to air TV, however, leaves a lot to be desired. Faces look very "pasty" and are too light and washed out at times or dark and over-saturated at other times.

There are also a lot of JPEG artefacts (I have reduced the sharpness considerably to try and alleviate this).

I'm wondering of the screen is just too big for the area we have it in (thankfully we are building a new house with larger family room - the main reason for the upgrade in the first place).

In short, I've developed a love/hate relationship with this TV... I'll give it three stars for now... maybe I'll increase it to four as we grow a bit closer.

Amazing TV for the price you pay, easy to set up, great picture – We were looking at the LG 32LF5500 and decided to get this TV (32LF6300) instead. Setting the TV up is so easy that anybody can do it - you are guided through the whole process including setting your city, scanning for stations etc. The actual picture quality is amazing! I have read some reviews saying there is clouding and the screen is… Read more

reflective, but we have not noticed any issues - the blacks are very black, the colours are very accurately represented, and there is very little moire and jaggy edges.

The price was $600 at the Good Guys (remember, always ask "What's the best price you can do" before you buy!) and we think it's worth every cent.

If you just want an easy to use TV and you will never use the extra features (like WIFI, mirracast etc), this TV is also a good option - using the TV like a TV (duh!) is actually very easy and simple. LG seem have used the Keep It Simple, Stupid idea very well.

You can pause live TV (but you need a USB drive to do so) and apparently you can record TV shows (yet to try this).

Turning the TV on, it is very fast at starting up, and changing channels is very quick too.

Pressing a station number (ie 7) brings up a list of any stations starting with 7 (down in Melbourne we get channel 7, GO, 7-2 etc), again, further making it easier to change TV stations.
