my hr945t comes on when powered up with the LG logo but then no picture or sound. does it need a firmware update if so how do i do it with no picture. any ideas

Unit turns on, runs through checks then turns off. Is there a way to reset this thing by holding down a set of buttons concurrently. Can not get to the settings screen before it turns off.

Hi Denis. I haven't experienced this situation sp i am unsure. Sorry im not much help. I sent mine back to LG and recieved a full credit for the store i bought it from. There is a ph number somewhere in the documentation. Highly recommend you contact LG help centre for assistance. Cheers

Pause live tv automatically? Also how many minutes can be round back on the pause live tv function?

Yes, but it's temperamental. Up to 120 mins. Note: You need to turn on this function in "Settings" for it to work first.

We have a hr945t. Can we record analogue signals on this unit and if so how? Regards Peter

If you can get the tuner to recognise analogue channels, it should record. However, I don't think it will - I think it will only tune to the digital channels. Try it and see how you go - only one way to find out :-)

How do you delete a recorded show once you have viewed it?

Press the "Info" button on the remote, then select "Delete" and follow the prompts. However, "Delete" will NOT show as an option whilst the PVR is recording another channel/show
