I tried to auto program my 42LB6500 tv yesterday and could not as new programming steered me to a page told me to insert a 4 digit number so I could proceed. I did not know the code. Could someone tell me the code numbers and why and when was this alteration done?
Is there anyway I can connect apple airpods to this TV?
As this model does not have Bluetooth you can't connect to airpods directly. To my knowledge it can only be done with a Bluetooth adaptor. I tried that but the sound was always out of synch and not great.

I was told that Dolby Digital Signia should work in notebook, plugged in same place where we do with any earsphone. Why I cannot do that with mine?
How do I measure the input signal strength for the digital TV input. I can go to setup and select the analog input to show channels up to 64. No digital channels show signal strength.
How do I get the data about what is playing on the channels after I press the select button? The channels show without the description of the shows.

We want to connect the TV to my wife's Siemens Hearing Aids through a Dolby Digital Signia SreamLine TV box- this would improve her sound receiving significantly. It won't connect. What should we do? Is there something we need to upgrade and if so what with/ to? Wayne
I’m somewhat confused..in settings it suggests can connect to Bluetooth devices however when I have JBL headphones turned on and in range it doesn’t connect but, under all the connectivity options ie: LG optical, arc etc etc it has the word 'headphones' which when ticked appear to be connected but it suggests the headphones are connected via cable..?? It doesn’t pick up Bluetooth on my iPhone either..? If capable, how do I activate Bluetooth please..? 55LB6500-TH

How long have you had the TV I had an LG LED HD 3D Tv. Only lasted 3 and a bit years. LG Customer Service told me I had a reasonable amount of use out of it. The ACCC took them to the Supreme Court over misleading and deceptive Conduct about their representations regarding their warrantees. Poor products in my opinion and poor customer service. I'm putting the matter in the hands of lawyers to get a refund. You might want to try that yourself if you haven't had it that long.

Walmart has the remote for $15.00. Order today, get it in a few days. My original remote lasted 6 years and the wheel was not spinning easily. Network connection with web TV is worthless. I connected a full Windows computer ($125 at Frys) to it using the HDMI port to access the web. More control, more apps, faster. What is not to like? external link
Have an LG 42 inch led LCD 3D tv and after only 3 years and 9 months it got 2 white light spots on the screen. Anyone know why and is this common?

Backlight issue should be covered by warranty due to faulty part, Talk to repairers.

The back light issue is because the plastic lenses have fallen off the LEDs, due IMO to poor glue. If that's the case you should be able to hear them all rolling around the bottom of the screen when tilted. Easy fix with a little care and high temp silicone.
Is it worth purchasing 4k DVD's with this TV or just HD Blue Ray adequate?

2 to 3rd works but is only a simulation. It will give an effect of 3d but the best 3d is via blue ray video designed for 3D. Don't forget the glasses as the 3rd image will look fuzzy without
