Have picture but lost sound – Brought this tv in 2010 for around $1500, at Bing Lee Burwood NSW The sound just went, then came back on the went again, what a crap T.V. Will never buy a LG TV again as this has been a very expensive exercise. We certainly do live in a throwaway world Show details
Never buy lg – I bought this TV for $1500 in 2010 and it was manufactured in 2010. After 5 years the main board stopped working. What a waste of money for a TV to stop working only 5 years old. Long story short called lg and that couldn't help. Looks like they don't care about their customers.
Excellent – We researched tvs a bit before buying a tv. We initially were looking at edge lit led tvs, but found that research shows in rooms with more light, the screen was hard view with this style and that backlit LEDs were better. We had heard good reviews about the LG LE5500 series and when viewing it in store we were very happy with the price, style,… Read more
quality and picture. We mounted the TV in our lounge room and it looks great. The picture is so good, my husband still comments on it. It has capabilities to hook up to the Internet for picassa photos and youtube. When we purchased this tv we also got a home theatre system as part of the package (so we got an extra good deal). Works great with the LG home theatre system, detecting it automatically without having to change input mode on tv. Remote user friendly and nice to handle. Would recommend. A beautiful picture. Looks great wall mounted. Great frame rate and contrast. Wifi compatible to access youtube and picassa. Great auto detection of devices. No problems yet and we've had the tv for 6 months now.
