The 3d tv that just won't die – This tv has been going strong for years! While it has been replaced with a bigger but cheaper tv in the living room, it is now been placed in the shed/men cave hooked up to a cheap sound bar and a chrome cast with remote. For a tv that is 12/13 years old the picture quality is amazing and it still holds up to today's standards. Tv company's… Read more
back then really thought 3D was going to be big and to get TVs to display 3d well they had to have a decent quality screen with a good refresh rate, so this tv was the flagship of its time and it shows, to bad 3d never took off.
Have not tried gaming yet but I my expectations are low if I hook a PS5 up, but this tv will mostly be used to play PS3 which has a Catalog of 3d enabled games so I'm keen to try that out.
It's been very reliable for all these years – Still going on after 9 years of service. No problems, no faults, touch the wood. Watch it through my fetch tv. Sound is good, picture is very clear. I believe that TVs are for watching, don't care about these smart features. Show details · 1
No easy flickering fix – TV was fine for a short time then a pixel line appeared across the top. Shortly after the picture started flickering. "Dr Google!!" suggested reset disconnecting power, turn off power saving etc. Doesn't work. Sound quality is poor, wind it up to even 60 on LG's scale and still not very loud. Image is good but I won't be buying LG again and… Read more
would advise others against it as this flickering is a common fault and LG didn't care. Software also unable to link e.g. internet search, YouTube even though the TV recognised my NBN Router. No sorry LG. I bought an LG phone some years back and couldn't get rid of it fast enough. QC and software and hardware faults seem still not resolved.
Great value. Still going strong – I've had this TV for six years and it's still going strong. It's energy efficient, gives out a clear picture, has plenty of ports and the audio output is fine (but I'm not an audiophile). Problems with it are that the Smart TV features are a bit limited and the 3D is a gimmick. I've never used the 3D glasses that come with the set. The Smart TV… Read more
does do DLNA, but the app selection is limited. YouTube also stopped support for this TV in Nov last year.
Besides its faults, it continues to be a very good 1080p TV. Will replace it with a 4K when it finally breaks, but that looks like it's going to be a while. No rush, cause it's still a good TV.
Didn't last as long as we expected – PROS This television had good sound, sufficient HDMI ports, and my kids liked how you could rewind a tele show and listen to it again if you missed what someone said. CONS This television's picture quality has turned us off buying anything LG for years to come. Its purchase price was $1290 from The Good Guys, which was a significant budget… Read more
purchase for our family. The television was not on 24/7 like in some households. We only connected it to the internet a handful of times. We watched a few DVDs on it and played offline PS3 and PS4 games now and then, but it was only used for ~10 hours a week (if that).
Within 18 months of use, the screen had developed a 5 cm white band whenever we turned it on or off. The Good Guys salesperson claimed it was "normal". Then the white band started staying on when the television shows were playing and the whole picture became washed out either side of the band. More white bands started running through the picture as time went by - it was like viewing the picture through white prison bars. Then the picture started fading even more behind the white bars. For the past three months the white lines and picture fadeout have become so bad that tele shows are unwatchable, even though the sound is still quite clear. The white bars/whitewash applies to all types of input e.g. television, HDMI, DVDs. My kids just sit in front of the white boat anchor listening to the audio like it's a radio.
Our previous television was an 24 inch AWA. It cost $199 and lasted 8 years. I really expected this flashy LG television to be trouble free for years, not develop issues within 18 months and be unwatchable before it was even 5 years old.
Best TV I've ever owned – This 2012 model is the best TV I've ever owned. It has 100Hz Trumotion, 3D compatible, could play any file, had a cool 'recent' function in the apps menu so you could watch something you've recent started again... I only upgraded recently as the Wi-Fi was starting to drop out ( I suspect the chip is getting old and hot...) I've been buying LG TVs ever since as they are great, but this was the first and the best. Show details
Best TV in the house. By far – Purchased in 2012 and impressing ever since. Where it is mostly used as a gaming screen for hours on end, it never seems to get even warm! The screen will be cool to the touch even after operating for many hours, compared to the other Samsung panels in the house. Having Smart TV capabilities make streaming Netflix so very easy, just have an… Read more
Ethernet (or wifi if cables are no-go) and the stream is flawless. It also saves running it through the PS4 which gets very hot during operation.
Some days I wish I'd bought a bigger panel, but then I think I've got it far too good with this product to think of any other. 5 stars!
A great TV – Big screen with beautiful, full of colors display especially when you play Bluray. 3D is awesome, full depth picture and menu for manual setup. The sound is not really powerful but, i have the BD player attached to a Yamaha amp. with plenty of power. If you are into games Xbox 360 rocks on this TV.
Taking back my words, was Extremely satisfied, but not anymore – I bought this tv in early 2013. I was very much satisfied with it and posted a review here titled "Extremely satisfied". Unfortunalty that satisfaction didn't last long. The TV was broken after 15 months and returned to jb hifi for repair. The manufacturer's warranty was already expired, but it was still under jb hifi's repair warranty. So jb guys… Read more
promismed me to repaire it for free. But now they are trying to get LG to cover the cost. according to jb hifi, lg has verbally agreed several times to cover the cost, but nothing has done for the past month. My tv is still sitting at repairer for the 7th wek and the repair is not started yet.
Broken
Finally got full refund in store credits from JB and bought a Samsung TV.
BEST TV OWNED! – Purchased this tv about 10 mths ago, great price, Had no issues with the tv. Good quality. love it!! great layout, easy to use. only issues that it doesn't have analogue audio out which sucks if you have computer surround sound. But there is a converter available to purchase which isnt that expensive. But most sound systems have optical these days Everything! 3D Mode!! doesnt have analogue audio out
NOT IMPRESSED – Bought my LG 55" Full HD 3D LED LCD TV in September had had nothing but trouble. Have been in contact with customer information on numerous occasions to no avail. Have changed batteries on remote, have done phone test have even sent it to a repair centre to have sensor replaced and still remote works intermitingly. Would dearly love LG to come to the party and replace it with one that works
LG came to the party and replaced my TV thank you LG
Very bad Wifi Connection – TV was bought in April. Wifi connection was OK at first during two month. The Plex always dropped line when I watch a movie from my computer. And later, TV did not connect to wireless router properly. I have to turn the TV off and on again until Wifi connected. I have to check Setting->Network Status every time I turn TV on. Rarely, the TV can… Read more
find access the point and connect. But when I run the internet browser, Internet disconnected again. And then, I go back to Setting->Network, TV can not find any network, then repeat to turn TV On/Off. I have an iPad, an iPhone, two computers with wireless connection, one computer with wired connection and WiFi repeater. All working fine with the router except this TV. I changed a new router. The problem still happened. Currently, I can only use wired connection. The LAN cable make my lounge bloody mess. I have contacted LG support. They transferred this case to third party electricity service and I was noticed I have to pay if TV has no faulty. I will follow up to write what happened next.
WIFI Connection
TV has been repaired. Technician came to my home and replace a new mainboard. Currently, WIFI connection is working fine.

The Best Purchase Ever – Just recently purchased an LG 32LM6410 32" 3D TV from The Good Guys in Gepps Cross in Adelaide and I am so very happy with it that I would buy LG Products in the future because the 3D is way better and the 3D glasses are much easier on your eyes since they are don't flicker. Excellent 3D, Great Design, Not to expensive, Flicker-free 3D glasses. Show reply
Good – I love this tv i haven't had any problems so far ... the picture is good fairly easy too use i like when i turn on either my xbox or set top box it automaticly comes up with the selection .... one thing i will say i am a little disappionted with is the youtube writing is a bit awkward ... but other than that pretty happy :) Qulity is good, seems relaible, wasnt that badly priced considering smart tv :) Youtube and internet writing
Best Purchase Ever – I bought this so I could watch my favourite TV Shows and view photos on it in 3D. Also I enjoy wearing the flicker-free 3D Glasses since it doesn't hurt your eyes or give you any headaches so I would definitely recommend LG to anybody who doesn't have one since it is way better then Samsung. Design, Easy To Use, Good Quality and Excellent Performance Expensive
What a picture for the Price! – Got this TV a few days ago in the 42inch and what a difference it is compared to my 4 year old toshiba (i know technology has improved). Picture quality is outstanding, 2D to 3D conversion is awesome, 3D channel on Foxtel is WOW! as good as the cinema. Smart TV opition including wifi connection to my pc so i can watch any video on the pc directly,… Read more · 1
no cables. Easy to set up just connected the wifi and then the TV did a softwear upgrade to the latest version. blu-rays look unreal!.
Who thought you could get all this for under $750? Wasn't really in the market for a Smart TV or 3D tv for that matter but for the price i decided to go for this one and am very impressed. Foxtel HD looks amasing. Highly recommend! Plus it's passive 3D no flickering and you can use the same glasses as the cinema. you get 4 pairs with the TV. Very thin with small border looks great on the wall. Great picture quality, heaps of features, easy to set up.
Brillant TV great price – Really nice TV, light and cheap 3D glasses (Sony system are $120 a pair for example), easy set up, great picture even with 100MHZ, I honestly dont think i could pick an improvment in a 200MHZ T. very much recommended. sound from TV speakers is also fine, i dont have its hooked up to a cinema system. Big plus is file compartibility, MPG, MKV, AVI… Read more
even WMV. Price, picture, file compartibility Menu to inputs (ie tv then to HDMI is a little long winded)
Really good if you like streaming content from your TV – This TV looks really sleek and slim. The playback content is really smooth compared to more expensive TV. It handles almost all video file on your computer and stream seamlessly. Wireless is perfect no issues streaming files over 11G (1080p mkv) from 1 room away. you. Although many comments mention bad wifi I was surprised with the result I had. Smooth HD streaming. Good Price. There is no way to change the file/video list view to a detailed list instead thumbnail view is permanent. The home key on the remote is too close to the arrow up.
Great for Media avi, mp4 etc – LG 47LM6410 great TV for price. Originally bought Sony Bravia 200 MHz and it didnt play MP4 and was fussy with avi via USB so I took it back and did some research. this plays both and had some some luck with MKV too. brilliant 3D too with the "cheap glasses" vs Sony expensive galssses. recommended file format compatibility, price Show reply
Bad WiFi connection – I bought this TV last weekend and was struggling the whole week in my freetime to setup all connections (WiFi, Smart Phone, DLNA etc.). The Plex software slowed down my PC and corrupted the whole network. No device had internet access. After de-installing it the TV was still struggling to connect to the gateway via WiFi. Sometimes it's able to… Read more
connect, but after a while the connection breaks down again. It's not stable at all while my 3 PCs and 2 smart phones are perfectly connected. The distance between router and TV is less than 2 meters. That can't be the issue. It was also very difficult to find out the MAC address of this device to integrate it in my MAC filter list. The MAC address listed under product info is simply wrong! You have to connect the TV without MAC filter first and then it tells you the correct MAC address when you make a network status test.
Streaming of movies etc. via PC or smart phone doesn't work. Couldn't find an app from LG to get it working on my S3. The manual that comes with the TV is a joke. The AN-VC400 TV cam, which is the only one that works with the TV, is nowhere available in NZ. This TV is a frustrate and I will return it. I'm sick of wasting my well deserved free time after work to get the thing doing what I want. I'm already lacking of enough sleep.
LG: Test your products properly before unleashing them to the crowd! Indication error!

Great Value TV – I shopped around for several months before deciding on this TV. I was unsure whether to go Plasma or LED/LCD considering the value for money of a lot of Big plasma TV's these days. I purchased this TV from Harvey Norman for $1,015.00 on sale. Came with 4 sets of 3D glasses which work very well, dispite the fact I dont really use the 3D function.… Read more · 2
Smart TV features work well. Fantastic picture quality, good amount of inputs and a quality finish.
Was under the impression it was supposed to come with the Magic remote, which it didnt :(
The only 2 changes I would make, is I love the stainless finish, which this doesnt have (black) and does reflect a little glare in a heavily lit room.
Thats if I am being very picky. I researched the hell out of TV's and I'm stoked with my decision. I have the 47" version.
Would highly recommend anyone who is looking for a quality tv, to give the LG LM6410 a crack, you wont be disappointed. energy efficient, great picture quality, lots of inputs, looks great, value for money, smart functions up and down arrows on remote hard to use

Very Happy with LG 47LM6410 – Bought this product on 24/Jan in a store southwest of Sydney, drove home, unpacked & installed without a hitch, watching it is a pleasure, all is excellent. Connected the TV via HDMI to a desktop PC with internet via wireless network card,... browsing the web at 1920x1080 resolution on an LG led 47" TV is addictive. I Love my LG 47LM6410. Good Energy consumption, LG brand name & its specialty in 3d Passive Technology.
Love this tv – I purchased this tv because I wanted a 3d, it was a toss up for a plasma or led. What made me purchase this one was due to the fact of how cheap it is to run compared to a plasma (7 stars) uses 217kw per year compared to (3 stars) 600kw on plasma. I still have my LG plasma and will not part with it (had it for 3 years now). To compare them both I… Read more
think plasma pic quality is better but colour is better on led. I do not have any dramas with this tv, 4 pairs of glasses was a good deal compared to other brands some of which had 2 pair and some had 1 pair. Watching bluray in 3d is great and I am impressed. I love LG products and have a few. Only thing that has upset me was when I purchased this tv for $863, a week later the company I bought it from advertised a bigger model for a price of $769, teach me to read pamphlets.
One thing I have noticed with all these new products is when I was using the plasma and other elect products is that the heat coming from them is very warm. I have a little 8 inch fan that I run behind them and I think it helps with the life span due to running cooler as heat and dust is a major fault now.
I just love this tv.
A real cinema 3D experience – I bought it for gaming .First thing I did was try Assassins creed 3 with my PlayStation in 3 D,it looked amazing. After seeing Avatar at the theater in 3D I thought watching 3D off a TV would be unimpressive, but when I started watching Harold and Kumar 3D Christmas,it was a real cinema experience, the images are in your face,2D to 3D converter looks… Read more · 1
okay as long as you don't pause the image then you can see the faults, but I believe movies aren't meant to be converted-stick to 3D movies. Great value,Excellent contrast.
This set is great – Just bought one from Harvey norman yesterday. very easy to setup. plenty of slots (HDMI, USB) and it even has an optical out which very useful to connect to the sound system. Picture quality when watching TV varies depending on what's on at the time but it is excellent when watching movie and games. sound quality is standard. Can't expect more… Read more · 1
from stock standard speakers. It is quite rich with features and wifi connection is good. The only issue that I find most annoying is pressing the down arrow on the remote, very often I pressed the home button instead. LG you need design so that the keypad arrows are either wider or raised from the surrounding key to give better tactile feedback without looking at the remote.
Overall: it is recommended especially it comes with 4 3D glasses & wifi ready (don't need to buy separate dongle) Picture quality, features, connectivity Down arrow on the remote
dont buy LG LM6410 – i bought this TV from a recomendation from a LG rep. I hate it. The picture is terrible. I think it is to do with the refresh rate. Everytrhing looks like it is moving like an old flip card movie book. Even when writing is moving across the bottom of the screen it moves step by step rather than rolling smoothly across the screen like my other less… Read more
expensive TV's. Still pictures or very slow moving pictures are fine, but as soon as something moves with a little bit off speed i turn the TV off and go to another room. Do not buy this TV if you watch sport or action movies. Actually i wish i not recommend buying this TV at all. I wish i could get my money back. Im ready to stand outsode the shop and advise people to stay away from LG - its that bad
picture is too slow......everything seems to move in small steps rather than flow smoothly
What exactly were u watching ??? Give me some advise I am planning to buy this tv !!!
Great TV for the price – We're very happy overall with the TV. Superb picture quality and rich feature set for the price. We have another TV from a major brand and the picture quality is not nearly as good as the LG. The internet connectivity is fast and watching catch up TV is a cinch. Our only gripe is that the remote is painful to use when typing in text for web… Read more
addresses etc. There is an LG remote control app but this does not provide a keyboard! C'mon LG - a remote control app for a smart TV that doesn't have a keyboard is like a car without a steering wheel! In the meantime we've resorted to a wireless keyboard which works fine. Superb picture and very high level of picture and sound customisation Remote lacks keyboard
We all love it – We bought this TV from the Good Guys 1 week ago and we all loved it very much. It comed with 4 pairs of 3D glasses. The sound is beautiful. Picture quality is very high. We got another two expensive brand of TV and found out this LG TV is better than them and it is the cheapest. High quality of sound and picture Show 2 replies
42 inch LM6410 – I have been really happy with this TV. It is very easy to set up and we also found it easy to assemble our surround sound onto the TV. It also plays movies from our USB (powered not portable) directly without requiring a media player. This is great because it means we can use the TV remote for our movies from our USB. Also has 3D which is great when watching footy or movies. Great picture quality, plays USB movies directly.
