Smart Tv is useless – Smart tv won't work after some time and it will get very slow. Magic mouse never worked. so many application won't work and all are paid and useless. TV warranty not working – TV purchased 17/03/2012; TV 'died' 10/11/2014. We thought we were lucky: 3 yr warranty and, we'd paid for an additional 2 yrs - but............... we are told it might be WEEKS till we know what we'll get: a repaired TV or a replacement! discontinued model and shipped to our town (in Australia) and fitted......... we may not have the TV back by Christmas even!!!!

Not happy with the way LG is operating - no offer of a loan machine, no communication from LG at all! The repairer is over 70 yrs old and plans retirement - so what will happen then? He is the only one within several hundred of kms.

Beware the 3 yr warranty: is it really worth it? And the additional cost of an Extended warranty? Not worth it, I think.

style controls gives the user more options, or shortcuts if you like, to enjoy this TV. Picture is faultless and seamless. Built in WIFI makes catch up easy and the option to record or rewind live TV is great. Could use a second tuner to record one and watch the other but I guess you can't have everything! The integration with other devices is priceless, for example controlling the Sony Blu-ray player with same remote.

One could pay more for 200Hz or cutting edge LED technology but for my money could not go past this GEM. Great Picture, Energy Efficient, Easy to use, Value for money. Nothing.

LG LW 6500- Issues with Customer Support – I have owned my Lg TV for little over a year. I find the Picture quality to be quiet good in nomal use and using 3D. I also appreciate a 3 Year Warranty with my TV. However I have always noticed quite a large screen bleed on the Left and Right hand side Top and Bottom. this attention to your eye which only occurs on a black screen. I have also noticed when you run normal settings in regards to LED backlight,when you change to the Smart TV function you get an extremely bright backlight. I myself do not believe a $2600 TV should show such a bleed and be released for sale with Technology of today.

I have raised these issues with the LG Service Team which told me the technicians would have a look into my case and pictures sent. The service staff member which I had to chase up, explained to me and I quote "This is normal" I had argued the point and they sent me some normal settings via email explaining how to possibly reduce the screen bleed. I had already explained to the staff that my settings had been adjusted to the moon and back.

These issues have now been left alone with no further support. My clonclusion and advice to all is to check your TV thoroughly for these problems before purchasing and putting your trust in a product that dosen't deliver quality for the money paid.

Cheers 3D with 4x pairs of glasses. 3 Year Warranty. Thin and runs cool Energy efficent Massive screen bleed and no adjustment for backlight on Smart TV function. Poor service and follow up

Absolutley Fantastic, 3D is really Good – I Have the 47 Inch Version.. Although I dont use the Smart TV Function hardly ever I am Very Impressed with the Value I have got from this TV (Purchased From H.N. computer from TV. 2 pairs free 3D glasses. 3D appears good to us but we don't watch very often. Too many functions for what we really need - Might suit techno savvy but not average joe. Screen too dark at times and too bright at others.

Top tv – Got this tv on a 4 hour sale and saved $ 250.Have used the tv for 6 months now and love it. 3D tv is excellent and you can find the tech review specs to give you all the settings to optimise the picture setup on line at "flat panel shed ". games on the tv and go on the nternet. Buy it! one of the down sides is that you have to wear the glasses but thats only soe of the time. apart from taht its great.
