This is a stellar screen – Absolutely love the 49 inch LG IPS monitor. I previously had a 49 inch Samsung monitor which was blurry enough to hurt my eyes after 30-60 min. This monitor is crisp and works seamlessly with my Macbook Pro powering it and the screen with a single USBC C cable supplied in box. It's responsive and has a minimal bezel. If I had to recommend any improvement for LG, it would be that their stand is a little bulky. using their stand means it needs a lot of clearance behind the screen and then in front as well - it arches around which makes a fair amount of desk space unusable.
I purchased an Ergotron adjustable arm mount which made this perfect as I can move it around wherever I want and have it close to the wall with nothing in front.
Great screen I highly recommend. It makes me more productive.

Massive and so clear – I purchased this monitor for study and work purposes so wasn't all that interested in the higher refresh rate which is better for gaming. Another reason for choosing this monitor was the positive reviews regarding the built-in speakers and true to the reviews, the sound is the best I've heard on a monitor. I have played WoW on it (don't judge me) and the graphics and colours are amazing. I truly am impressed with this monitor. The screen is bright, and words are sharp and clear. The 5K ultra wide wallpapers I downloaded look outstanding on the screen. I love having three documents open at the same time side by side, it has made uni study and work so much easier. The stand is a beautiful rose gold colour and the bezel nice and thin so it looks very classy on my glossy white desk. I am super happy with this monitor and recommend it if you want a beautiful, large screen for work, study, and gaming.
