Excellent for moderate gamer

Works well as a main screen for working from home.
Kids use the monitor for school and games. Young adult children game effectively with online gaming.
Finger prints are very visible on this monitor however wipe off easily with a dry cloth.
Monitor responds quickly to single screen and multi screen configuration
Affordable for a midrange monitor Show details

This is a very cheap and good quality monitor for moderate gamers

The Samsung Essential Curved Monitor CF390 features support for adaptive-sync gaming. It's brand of choice is AMD Freesync. ... In theory, this means that there won't be any screen tearing even when Vertical Sync isn't turned on. At least, there won't be any lag in the video processing.

Beware of this product

Bought to replace an old Samsung monitor. Immediately the screen image was unstable and showed signs of electrical interference. I could see well enough to search the Samsung site and there was information of what to do if this problem occurred, so it's obviously a frequent issue. There were several suggestions, including making sure all other electrical devices were at least 1m away! Just what you need for a monitor. Tried everything, nothing worked and couldn't get through to Samsung. Took it back and replaced with a HP (paid extra). This monitor had a much more durable and robust electrical cable, whereas the Samsung had a separate transformer followed by smaller diameter wiring. Show details

Awesome screen and Great size

The size and screen brightness is just perfect for what I need for. I can easily adjust the screen brightness using the control at the back of the monitor. Setup for the monitor is straight forwards and easy to install. The viewing angle of the monitor can be adjusted too. Show details ·  1

First curved gaming monitor

This monitor is the first I have used with a curved screen. So far it has been used for playing strategy games and sports games as well as general browsing. I have been impressed with it. One minor annoying fact is that whilst it has speakers they only work when connected to hdmi there is no 3.5mm input. Show details ·  1

Great looking monitor

I am loving my new Samsung curved screen. I think it has the perfect curve , it looks great on my desk as I have it placed in the corner. The screen has alot of adjustments so you can set things up as you like them. A great price including extra warranty so that makes me happy. Show details

Awful Backlight Bleed/Glow

Started to having really bad backlight bleed after a year of use with a thick yellow tint on all edges of the monitor. Samsung repair agent (Video Factory Electronics) refuses to repair saying this is normal. It is not normal. Show details

Samsung - LC24F390FHEXXY 24" Curve

Love the curved screen, was a bit unsure at first but after using it for a few weeks I am obsessed with it. Lots of desktop space and looks great.

Curved screen ideal for sunlight through window... say no more!

Decided to pay a bit extra for a curved screen, so glad I did! It's great for sunlight coming through window... I don't have to close the blinds anymore or adjust the screen angle! It has a HDMI connection, with a 1m HDMI cable included (not indicated on webpage so I had gone out and paid $4 for one). The resolution is no different then my old "dirty" flat-screen monitor but the curved screen is the LC24F390 biggest advantage!
