Cheap Chinese copy with missing parts and NO WARRANTY!! – What absolute rip off merchants they are at Sydney Tools, they have no customer service, No Warranty and no Care once they have your money. I purchased this mower, my store didn't have stock so they said order it online and it would be delivered for free. Well it sounded good but that was the start of the nightmare, weeks went by with no mower,… Read more

even when contacting them it was claimed it was due to Covid, then floods. Well eventually it arrived after 3 weeks but was missing parts.

They said it was up to me to take it up with the manufacturer (I have later found out it is made for Sydney Tools only). As the manual did not list a manufacturer and they could not find who the manufacturer was?? I was asked to wait while they contacted head office, this went on for 2 months and each time I was asked to start again, what was missing, why was it missing. I thought I was being reasonable asking for just the missing part to be sent rather than them picking up the old one and sending a new one.

They just aren't interested, basically it is a case of we have your money so #$%^& off, don't call us we will call you (P.S. Don't get caught out, they NEVER CALL YOU). In the end they said I must return the mower unused at my cost and they will refund me. I had used it as it was purchased due to needing a lawn mower to use, NOT TO LOOK AT FOR MONTHS. Due to the cost (1/3 of the cost of the mower to return with tracking), and due to it being used which they said would cancel the Warranty, I had to go to Bunnings who went out of their way to get some replacement parts to make the mower usable.

NOTE TO SELF AND EVERYONE: JUST GO TO BUNNINGS, THEIR WARRANTY IS TOP NOTCH AND THEY WOULD HAVE HAD THIS SORTED ON DAY ONE.

Excellent device – Brilliant thing, easy assemble never used instructions, bullet proof. I have two I am on steep block one for front yard and one for back. You need a plan never go around the yard or up and down but paralell to power source working away from it keepin lead always on left, I will never go back to petrol.  Show details

Broke after 22 months use – I don't recall what the instructions were like or if it was difficult to assemble. It's corded (obviously) but my technique is much better now than is was back then. My garden has a lot of obstacles so you need a good plan when cutting with a cord. It comes with a very short cord so you'll need a big extension cord of two. I have run the cord… Read more

over once - operator error. It always had plenty of power and was of course very easy to start. It's very light weight, plastic and a bit cheaply made. There was a bit of flex in the plastic deck that you had to be careful with. An area of the front lawn had a bit of a sudden rise at the edge of the path. If you hit it at full speed the flex in the deck would cause the blades to gouge and leave circles in the lawn. It was OK if you slowed down. Overall it was great at cutting the lawn.

Last week disaster! Sudden reduction in rpm and smell of burning rubber, and then some banging! The rubber belt connecting the motor to a larger pully was rubbing against the plastic housing and deck, melting both. The main shaft (with the cutting blades) is only supported by a bearing at one end (mounted in plastic). It's leaning back towards the motor causing a lack of belt tension, bad belt alignment, and the blades striking the deck. It has mowed it's last lawn.

I would have stuck with it as long as it kept going. Now I need a new mower. Cordless electric still seems over priced, under powered, and batteries are never covered by warranty. Gonna have to get a petrol one.

Satisfied – Good product for the price, i have a small area @ back of house & 200 SQ meters @ front, did the work easily, easy to assemble even though the instructions are a bit poor - helps to be mechanically minded or able to laterally think, obvious the negative reviewers can't do either. would like to suggest to the manufacturer that a metal band at the… Read more ·  1

bottom of the sides to prevent body flex into the blade would be an advantage, lower edge of body at blade height flexes too easily if you lightly bump a cloths line pole etc, blade will cut the body......overall very satisfied - value for money - light and easy to use....would buy an electric line trimmer if Lincoln made one....

Useless – Useless instructions and didn't even come with the pieces necessary to keep the wheels on. The plastic is cheap, low quality and it feels like a toy. I couldn't find any helpful information online... so it's just money down the toilet. Extremely disappointed and feel very ripped off. I would NOT recommend this product!!!  Show details

Sadly a disaster – I bought this but have never used it - why, the instructions were worse than useless. I could not work it out so I enlisted some assistance, one of my 'helpers' made a mistake with a bolt that is now impossible to remove. I contacted Sydney Tools (who I bought it off) about the problem but they were not interested. Usually when I buy… Read more

something on-line I can find a YouTube tutorial how to assemble the item etc... but there is nothing for this.

Just have to write the money off and put it down to experience....

If you buy this be careful before you try putting it together.

Easy to use – I have the Lincoln LE17L Electric lawn mower and is it great for my small backyard. It can easily be lifted (and I'm not that strong) but it's still sturdy and works well. It was very easy to assemble, except the cord "holder" part could not be fitted on because the handles were pre-assembled, but that's not a big deal.  Show details

Literally turned my grass into lawn – This is the first time I have bought an electric (not battery) lawn mower. It does such an amazing job. Cuts the grass really well and sucks up all the grass clippings too. Our lawn has never looked so good. Wasn't too sure about having a power lead at first but if you run the mower up and down the grass starting at the power source and working… Read more

away instead of going around and around then the lead is always out of the way. Great product for a bargain price!
