1 S L.  · No option for "leave at premises ". Have to make unnecessary trips to local PO to pick up. Other liquor sellers leave parcels just fine
1 Serge H.  · Terrible. Shouldn't offer a service knowing they can't live up to it. Ordered 4 slabs Friday afternoon at 17:00 via "alleged" Express delivery. Still waiting...
5 Cozza  · Great delivery service – Did a first time delivery order and was amazed how quickly it arrived, top job
1 garry190001  · Online availability unreliable – Delivery took weeks, multiple items weren't available and had to be substituted.
1 pdm17  · Sober Party – Ordered 18 bottles of wine for a weekend function 4 days ago, no one knows where it is.Don't order online
1 swapna k.  · worst delivery service – collected $12 towards express delivery, but failed to even deliver

After placing an online order that initially went through, I later received an SMS saying it had been cancelled and that I should reorder. When I attempted to reorder, the price had increased significantly. That’s not good customer service. I won’t be rushing back to Liquorland — especially when there are plenty of better options available.

Placed a $200+ Order for 60 minute EXPRESS delivery from Jandakot on 02/04/2026. After a minute wait, still nothing. Rang their 1300 number, after they checked I was told 1 of my items wasn't available in whole. They had not made any attempt to contact me. The customer service representative COULD NOT HAVE CARED LESS, he actually found it amusing that I was now without my order for Good Friday.

Today (Friday 6:01pm) I placed an online order for 1-hour express delivery. Soon after (6:11pm) I received a text advising the order was packed and ready. After 2/12 hours I called the contact number the had been provided - 1300 300 640. After a few minutes of delays they checked my order and said that Doordash had not collected it. with Liquourland not Doordash. I asked what had happened and what follow up was occurring. Apparently nothing had occurred at all! They had no solution for their problem either and it was very quickly apparent that it was now my problem to sort out with the store. They eventually let me know where the store was (Redcliffe Warehouse) They flatly refused to provide any names or contact details of the Area Manager or anyone else responsible for the issues, just their titles. They also refused to contact the store. They then said I should call back on Monday? I then asked to speak with a supervisor or manager to escalate the matter and they hung up. I then contacted the store who stated that it was in fact the on-line team who were responsible for contacting Doordash and they had nothing at all to do with deliveries. They explained and confirmed that the order was packed and ready, but that nobody from Doordash had come to collect it. They do not follow up either, so clearly the Liquorland system is designed for the Customer to initiate and follow through with all post-failure actions. They then put me back through to Customer services, but it was a busy tone. I then called it again myself (8:54pm) when surprisingly I was eventually faced with the same unhelpful/original person. They proceeded to repeat their demand for me to call Monday, refused to speak to me, threatened me not to call again and promptly hung up. This is probably the most illogical, insane and most distressing on-line experience ever. Not sure what has happed to this business over the last 12 months, but I’m done with the utter incompetence and stupidity of the Liquorland on-line offering. If this is where Coles is headed, I wont bother even considering trying its supermarket on-line platform either.

My advice would be to steer well clear of liquorland.com.au should you wish to either click and collect or buy alcohol online. The clunky website throws up continual errors. There is no point screen shotting the problem because, when contacted they recant and reneg at every opportunity. They refuse to allow you to escalate complaints and make no… Read more

effort to honour their offers. Overall a very disreputable company with unethical behaviour who makes no effort to stand by deals made in good faith despite unequivocal evidence. The attachments show the difference in price 12 hours apart, which they refuse to stand by despite the errors being their fault.

I ordered over $135.00 worth of Liquor via the online store on 15/6/2025 on a click and collect basis from the Sherwood Store. On the website it said the store was open til 7.pm.Outside of the store the trading hours are only till 5-pm. This was the first red flag. On the 16/6, I got a text from Liquorland saying Sherwood could not fill my order… Read more

(despite the website saying they could - 2nd Red flag) and my order would now be filled by "Liquorland Indooroopilly". I contacted them asking about my order and they knew nothing about about it. (3rd Red flag). I said to the manager that i was going away for three days and i would be back to pick it up.In that time i received two reminder texts from Liquorland to say my order was ready to pick up now at Liquorland Indooroopilly. I went there on 19/6 and the manager said he didn't have an order for me at all but remembered me asking about one. I showed him the reminder texts i was getting despite there being no orders - 4th Red Flag. The manager rang the original store Sherwood where the order started at and they knew nothing about the order. I relayed this information to his colleague in case he knew something about it and all he could do for me as I was speaking to him was yawn which I found not to be very empathetic. The Senior manager however rang the online service department and they suggested he try calling 'Vintage Cellars' at Indooroopilly. This company has recently been taken over by Liquorland. My order had been sitting at Vintage Cellars all the time but the online store had been sending and reminding me to go to Liquorland Indooroopilly! I will never use this website again and not buy from liquorland on principal and I encourage others to do the same.

Disgusting Customer Service – Ordered online via a Facebook promo. Was offered free delivery within 90 minutes. Uber driver turned up with the wrong order. How is this company part of Coles. Amateur hour! – Ordered Whiteclaw Pienapple. Never heard back from them even though they advise Dec 4 delivery (a week ago). Had to contact their Online Chat... Basically told to wait... "Upon checking, your order is still in the process of being packed. You will receive an SMS notification once your order is available for pickup. Please bring a valid ID upon… Read more

collection."

While still on the chat I get an sms saying its not available and to choose a different flavour. Cancelling via SMS is a nightmare requiring more forms to be filled out (clearly they just want you to choose a different flavour rather than refund you) Luckily I told the Chat person to do it and they did it...

You can still order it on their website... What a amateur organisation.

Do not sell something you cant source... People dont have the time to be taken for a ride and thena sked to choose something else. Classic bait and switch tactics...

Don't bother online – When I ordered estimated delivery was a day or so. By the time the order was acknowledged it had already gone out by another day. Liqourland will accept your order and then take your money. They will even send you and SMS to tell you your order is ready but when you get to the store it isn't and some of the items you ordered are missing. I am told they are going to start to use AI to "improve" the process. I don't hold out much hope. Show details

Follow-up  · After telling me that I would get a refund for the missing item. No refund was forthcoming. I had to contact Liqourland again to ask for my money to be returned. I finally got a refund.

Guess what - no email. First time I have used Liquorland and definitely last time. There was no customer care. No customer contact. They shouldn't offer Express if they have no plan on doing it. Sorry but your customers time is just as important as yours.

I placed an order with Liquorland between 11am and 12pm today for fast delivery.  I received an email that the wine could not be supplied, but the 1 litre Jim Beam Bourbon would still be delivered. Cleveland.  There was no such place on Google.  I rang 2 Coles Liquorland shops in Cleveland.  The first was unhelpful.  The second kindly gave me a phone number that was able to see my order and the gentleman said the Bourbon would arrive in 6 minutes.  About 3 hours later (5:38pm), I again contacted the same number and a lady again said the order would be on its way in the next 90 minutes.

Around 6:47pm the Uber Driver called me and said he had arrived.  I said I am waiting out the front and he wasn't there.  He asked me my address, which took approximately 5 minutes for him to understand.  I spelled it out several times slowly, and he was still stuck on the first letter.  After a painfully long time, the driver had my address and then informed me, I had given the wrong address.  I assured him I did not and if it was wrong, the fault was on their end.  He again mentioned the address was wrong.  He also said something that sounded like he would not be able to deliver the order tonight.  I explained that I have been waiting all day for this order.  He said he would be there in 7 minutes.

When he arrived, I showed him my order with my address on it.  He said I gave Uber Eats the wrong address.  I said I never ordered through Uber Eats, again showing him my order through Liquorland with the correct address.

This was very unprofessional of him and topped off a horrible day dealing with Liquorland employees, and a system that failed at every point from ordering something they couldn't provide to making a mistake with my address AND NAME, then blaming me for the error.  Apparently, my last name also went from ****** to Howard.

Liquorland should be ashamed of both their performance and the treatment of their customers.

I have wasted 7 hours, made 5 phone calls waiting around for a "Fast Delivery".  I endeavoured to give Liquorland feedback prior to posting, but the email was not monitored, customer service went to error code, and the online chat person said she could not verify me as they were having issues with IT. She suggested we address our complaint to their subcontractor, Uber. The online chat person offered me a $10 voucher on my next order, but could not accept feedback? Obviously, just plugging leaks at this stage with no effort to fix them.

status updates, no txt messages either. I called the 1300 number and spoke to an arrogant argumentative lady who kept referring to no stock and Australia Post. I had to ask her who she worked for, Liqourland or Australia Post as she seemed more interested in Australia Post although, I had to point out that Australia Post do not sell alcohol. So, stock showing online = YES, order confirmation = YES, money taken from bank = YES, delivery = NO. CX agent told me no stock on a particular product although they confirmed in order and took money. No resolution from the agent, could not tell me when my order would arrive and said it would be sometime in the next few weeks...for drinks...hmmm. I went to the Liquorland website to look for a complaint form, guess what, nothing in sight as they do not have one. Thought I would waste more of my time and try live chat, equally as bad as their phone support. The male chat agent told me the same thing and guess what, didn't provide any alternatives or solutions. I wrote a paragraph for him to read so he could maybe re-type it and use ut to appease my frustration but guess what, he didn't. I suggested that for the items in stock, they could send express and it gets delivered in less than an hour and for items out of stock either cancel these or wait until they are in stock as that would be a decent customer experience. Agent didn't bother. Moral here, never purchase online from Liquorland as it is obvious they are not serious about customer experience for the majority of people who shop online.

And gave me emails address that I can send video of the altercation, but it was bounced back, i googled their email but also bounced back, only photos accepted.

I only want to send the video as a proof. And I want this driver cannot harm me and other customers.

I am wondering if I should also show this to police, because i do not fell safe when he said he would bash me he saw my face again before entering his car. He knows my address, he knows my id.

He cancelled order himself with a reason i am intoxicated, but i was NO alcoholic alcohol influence at all!

I have not heard anything from Coles regarding this matter.

Deplorable customer service. Every time I've ordered, I've either had the wrong stock delivered, the order hasn't gone through to the store or their so called "express" delivery needs to be chased when I've heard nothing for 3 hours! After wasting more than an hour selecting products worth over $300 in an online order for my fundraiser event, I discovered at check out that Liquorland doesn't deliver to Redfern! the Australian Government as a dry zone;" .... [*I've lived in Redfern for over 30 years - it is NOT now, nor has it ever been a Dry Zone.] .... "or areas determined by Coles Liquor based on state and local legislation and restrictions and Coles' responsible supply of alcohol policies having regard to our commitment to harm minimisation." [This statement is utter rubbish: Coles owns Liquorland yet Coles DOES deliver alcohol to Redfern, ordered online with their home delivery service.] So what's the REAL reason? This singular deliberate omission appears to be BLATANTLY DISCRIMINATORY & at the same time glaringly inconsistent. I find it unbelievable that they havent been called out on their antiquated attitude, & apparent oblivion to the fact that council's 'gentrification' & redevelopment of the area - MANY YEARS AGO - included the forced relocation of the majority of Redfern's long-standing indigenous community to areas in Western Sydney such as Parramatta & Liverpool which, according to the 2021 census BOTH have significantly higher Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander residents than Redfern. Woolloomooloo has the highest indigenous population in the inner city but that area is not excluded. On top of these anomalies, Coles double standards are utterly outrageous!! How can the mother company justify operating on a policy completely opposed to the exclusion dictated to their subsidiaries including First Choice & Vintage Cellars AS WELL AS Liquorland? This is overt racism, it is unacceptable & needs to be exposed & addressed immediately. I intend to take it up with Coles after first raising a complaint with Liquor & Gaming NSW - Coles must be held accountable.
