Not only the best product but also a life saver. Do yourself and your loved one a favour. My husband is disabled all he has to do is press the button uf he is in need and it rings my phone. If by chance I dont answer and he is in need then the call automatically goes to an ambulance. Other than that if for some reason I have gone out to the shops… Read more

I can call him on the .id life alarm to make sure he is ok. Such a relief for both of us. Thank you live life alarm.

Feeling more secure – I have two issues. The first being that no matter what I do to prevent it (and I already have the little plastic ring) I still set it off fairly often by leaning on something. A but embarrassing if it happens in a shop or restaurant. I grab my chest to locate it and turn it off. The second issue is that because it has its own mobile number I… Read more ·  3

get a few unknown calls from people who have rung the rmwrong number for whoever they wanted and they get me.

I have adjusted myself to both of those issues because apart from that it is fantastic. It works well, because even if I take it off and place it down just a tad heavier it will asset off the alarm.

It's a fantastic device...much better than the cheap ones ..sorry to those who have that variety but I was lucky that my family bought me this one after I had done some research on what was available.

Peace of mind and cost effective – I feel safe having this and it is simple to use. We looked at alternatives eg an Apple Watch but besides the cost, I didn’t think I could learn to use it. The only fault I find with it is the flashing light. I can’t have it in my bedroom at night. I have tried burying it under clothes with the loop hanging over the drawer but it’s difficult. like wearing it on my wrist when I leave the house. I feel safe but don’t look like an old lady wearing an alarm. This is the best option I found after researching other alternatives. It is cost effective and easy to use. I bought it and I recommend it.

I wear the alarm on the lanyard, used the belt clip but the clip broke, I have been plagued by false alarms with no reason, 3 in one day 2 whilst sitting using my computer and 1 whilst at the table eating my lunch. Another problem is if there is any loud noise nearby you can't hear the warning that the alarm has been activated, and it is most… Read more

embarrassing when suddenly your local contact appears and your other contacts start phoning to check on you. one thing I would suggest is that the activation button be inset from the surface of the alarm as I think a lot of false alarms are cause by the alarm being pressed against your body by other surfaces you may come in contact with. I think perhaps I am still to physically active with working around the property and probably not have as many activations were I more sedentary.

Since writing the original review I have been contacted by Live Life Alarms and have had the problems rectified they have supplied an O-ring that surrounds the SOS button and make it less susceptible to accidental activations, have replace the belt clip and Increased the volume of the pendant speaker. I am impressed with the response from Live Life Alarms who dealt with my problems in a timely and professional manner, I have left in place the original review as it may help others who have experienced the same problem and don't know about the availability of the O-ring fix for the SOS button sensitivity.

Inbuilt fall detection does not work. False advertisement – it is advertised for an inbuilt "fall detection". My father wore it the first time. We have tested to press the button to see how it called for help prior to that. We trust that the alarm would be able to detect a fall and notify us. Just a few hours later, I went to the backyard to find out that my dad had fall into the ground, his arms locked… Read more

in a position preventing him from pressing the button. He tried to call for help. Once I reassured him an ambulance has been called. He asked me why the alarm did not call you? It was so painful to hear him asking such question. He has been lying helplessness for about 15-20 minutes before I accidently found out. His spine has been severely injured. My feedback: The button MAY work but the inbuilt fall detection failed completely. So if you need an inbuilt fall detection, think twice about that. I believe it is a false advertisement or the company needs to make people aware that it doesn't always work.

Security and piece of mind – After mum passing away leaving dad on his own and living 3+ hrs drive away from me and my siblings we were looking for some peace of mind should anything happen to him. This personal alarm has given us that and more! There are many personal alarms around and a lot of them only work within a certain radius from the base, but this one works… Read more ·  1

absolutely everywhere. Not only will it call you, it also provides you the GPS location of where the user is when the alarm is activated along with the ability to talk to the user via the personal alarm. Fortunately for us, our only experience has been from dad accidentally activating his alarm, but this has given us (and dad) a huge amount of comfort and piece of mind, not only knowing it works, but knowing where he is and being able to talk to him through the alarm. There are numerous benefits of this alarm over others - Works Australia wide -Emergency contact numbers entered before delivery ( arrives fully set up ready for immediate use) - GPS locatable -Falls detection - The ability to communicate directly through the personal alarm - Users can choose to either wear it around the neck, on the wrist or attached to the belt. After the initial purchase, the only ongoing cost is a yearly fee ( small for security and piece of mind) to keep the alarm active on the Telstra network. If your looking for a personal alarm for piece of mind for you or your loved ones, look no further LiveLife Alarms have it in spades.

We purchased the LiveLife Alarm via a home care package for our elderly mother and it’s been very helpful. She wears it around her neck when she’s at home alone and on a number of occasions we’ve been able to contact her when she doesn’t have her mobile phone with her. It’s given us peace of mind (as long as she remembers to wear it) and the battery life is very good. Highly recommended. Show reply

I find the alarm sometimes goes off when I lean on something accidentally eg supermarket trolley when I lean over the handle. I wear inside my bra as this more comfortable when participating in lawn bowls. I have no complaints and I am happy with it. Show details ·  1

I enjoy the Comfortable feeling when I am wearing my Alarm, that help is always near. Show details ·  2

Quality of the build of the item is great. Battery life is extremely disapointing. Support people are very short when I contacted them regarding battery life. Item has to be charged every 22 -24 hours. I honestly can’t see why a battery with a longer charge life can’t be installed. Show details

It’s not very useful because whenever my elderly mother wears it & moves it sets off her device! She can’t hear what it’s saying to her & we panic not knowing what’s happening. She has had it for two years odd & has used it twice because she is scared of setting it off for no reason! If we would have known this we would never have bought it! You also have to pay Telstra for use every year.

I find the alarm watch is a bit too sensitive in raising a fall alert. It alarms when closing the tailgate on the car and hanging out washing. I am considering trying to get a pocket so that I can hang the watch around my neck. Show reply

It's been a blessing to have instant access to Ken, who is suffering from dementia and can't always remember how to access his technology to speak to family. His ability to call family in emergencies. The alarm does go off unintentially quite often but it hasn't been a big problem. Show reply

Very easy to use device. Bought 2 devices for elderly parents (90s) who were living at home alone. Ready to use when arrived via Aust Post and after a week of use, parents are very comfortable with using. Recharge stations also simple and easy to use. Show details ·  1

Fortunately, we have not needed to use the alarm in an actual emergency. However, Mum has had a couple of incidents where it was reassuring to be able to contact her through the mobile alarm when she did not answer her phone. The device provides great peace of mind for all of Mum’s family. Show details ·  1

I bought this for my father in law, who doesn't use a mobile phone. In his late 80's he still comes to work on the farm each day and is often off on a tractor on his own. This way we can find him if there's an incident and he can call for help. We often use the call feature of the live life alarm, if we need to reach him for any reason we can ring the device. He has also used it to call out in a non urgent situation Show details ·  1

Once we worked out how to add callers it was straightforward. We needed to have a plan as to who was called in which order. Then we had to check with everyone before we ran a test. It all worked well. We did have a challenge when we were offshore and received an alarm. We had not thought to make changes before we went - a lesson learned. Show details ·  1

I had a bad fall a few months ago. When this happened my falls alarm did not activate. I ended up having to phone a friend to come and help me as I had fractured my femur. I rang your company and spoke to a lady who said that she has increased the sensitivity of my falls alarm. I am hopeful now it will activate properly if I have another fall but, remain a little concerned.

We feel much more secure that mum has this pendant. It provides our family with extra security that our 91 year old mum is safe when she is on her own. It’s taken time to convince mum to wear it all the time, that is about asking her to change and not related to the product. We have had a few false alarms when mum has accidentally dropped the pendant, however at least we know it’s working Show details ·  1

This was for my husband and I found it to be not helpful at all. It is now in a drawer. He is suffering with onset dementia and did not understand what the watch would do. He would drop it, put it in his pocket and send messages. The time allowed to answer the fall alert was way too short. I would have advice going to all in the list before I (the first person) could answer the alert. It was for us a waste of $500 odd dollars. Show details

I wear the alarm on my belt. It occasionally gets activated during daily activities. But the warning is loud enough and I usually cancel before the first call is made. The alarm sends my location and and call comes through loud and clear. I can recommend this product. Show details ·  1

The live life alarm actually works. Twice I’ve had a fall or should I say tripped over my big feet, and the alarm went into action. It immediately called my contacts and I just laid on the floor until they arrived. I could speak to them without having to touch any buttons, it was comforting to know I had someone coming to my aid. Luckily I wasn’t injured, more embarrassed. I always wear it if my husband goes out and these two incidents proves it. Show reply

I gave this to my mum. She is 93 and has had a few falls, and lives on her own. This alarm has given us so much comfort knowing if she has a fall we would be contacted straight away. I highly recommend getting one for safety and knowing your love one isn’t left laying on the floor unable to contact anyone. Show reply
