Living Textiles Smart-Dri Waterproof Mattress Protector

Good Mattress Protector – I currently have two of these mattress protectors and find them to be very good. Haven't noticed any plastic smell at all and all messes that happen do not leak on to your mattress. They dry quickly after a wash, fit nice and firm to the mattress as recommended by SIDS recommendations. Fits my larger Boori cot as well.

Not so DRI after 12+ months – Was initially happy as we bought 2 and were great a couples months then padding started to clump after cold wash. Have had leaking bottle soak right through to the mattress, and other accidents and had to rip the bedding off immediately so not to damage mattress while juggling a upset soiled baby. Just disappointed now.. Fits perfectly, did keep mattress dry for a couple of months Padding clumps, no longer waterproof at 14 months

Good – I am pleased with these mattress protectors and will continue to use them. I really like that they are breathable and they stay in place really well. Although the smell is no where near as strong as the target pvc protectors I used prior to these, there is still a plasticy smell. I don't like the thought of by baby breating this in all night even though it is non toxic. To reduce the smell I put a doubled over flat sheet under the fitted sheet which works quite well. It would just be nice if there were no smell at all. Breathable, slightly padded, reasonably priced, non toxic waterproof layer, fitted, nice thick soft cotton cover, quality brand. The smell of the plastic.

Excellent – We have 2 of these so we can alternate when one is in the wash. The mattress protector really keeps the mattress dry even after a bed wetting and even if you dont catch it straight away. The plastic lining inside really keeps all moisture away from the matress. We have an expensive mattress and these have really kept it brand new so far. This is a really good mattress protector. Good value, durable, cleans really well and is machine washable. The mattress protector is thick and so does take a while to dry after washing - but this doesn't affect the product.
