Money down the drain – I purchase a pre-loved IpadPro 12.9 from an owner that had it for 3 months; that was 12 months ago. It came with receipts and Apple has transferred the warranty. Unfortunately it came with a Logitech Create keyboard and that has been breaking up at the edge where the IPadPro slots into the case. I contacted Logitech only to find that they do not… Read more

honour the 2 year warranty unless it is the original owner. The IpadPro now no longer fits securely into the case making it prone to slipping out so not wanting to risk damage to the IpadPro I no longer use the Logitech keyboard. What a waste of money. I have asked if they can repair but no answer. The Logitech is priced like Apple gear but you don’t get Apple service with it. I’ll stick with the original equipment in future. To think I have purchased Logitech products for a long time now; wish I’d lined some other manufacturers pockets. They have seen the last of my money.

Great armoured protection for your iPad – The key thing I love about this case is that it really, really protects my iPad Pro. I have no issues with throwing it into my backpack and letting it rough it out while travelling. The keyboard is very serviceable (although I did somehow lose a button somewhere) and I have no issues with the strong magnetic connection to the case. If you get… Read more

this case, you can travel in confidence. Quite a few times I have just left it in my main luggage on flights and I have no concerns with it being broken by an errant bump.

The main drawback of this is the overall weight. It is not a light product and when combined with the iPad Pro, it can feel like a small slab of sheet metal at times. If you are interested in this product and do not have strong upper body strength, I might recommend you try it out in a local store for weight and see if it feels ok for you.

Near laptop functionality – Nice keyboard and protective cover combination. Backlit keyboard nice for work in low light environments. Good combination giving near laptop functionality. Lights on arrow keys not great. Loss of contact under certain conditions. I like the keyboard. It is not perfect, but it is still a great product.

Absolutely LOVE this keyboard! – I bought this keyboard for my new iPad Pro because I wanted something to get my iPad as close to being a laptop replacement as possible. I wanted something MADE for the iPad Pro so I was deciding between Apple's own keyboard or the logi create... I am SO glad that I went with this one!! Firstly, let me start by saying that the case is HEAVY.… Read more

When the case is on my ipad, it weights the same as my laptop. So if you are firm on having a LIGHT keyboard, this definitely is NOT for you.

Getting the iPad in to the case was a bit tricky, you have to actually 'click' two of the iPad's corners in to the case which I was a bit worried about for two reasons - 1. I did not think it could possibly be secure, but once it is in there it is super secure and my ipad has not felt like it would fall out - 2. I did not like the idea of forcing it in there, but I can't see any damage so all is fine.

The keyboard keys are quite smooth and have rounded edges. There is a slight gap around all keys that might let dust in but I have not had this problem yet. The keys type VERY smooth. It has a dull sound as you're typing unlike Apple's keyboard which I found (by testing it at the store) to be very quiet. But in no way is it like a regular desktop keyboard, it is a dull, soft sound that has not annoyed anyone in my household when I do a lot of typing: :)

The buttons around the edges of the case - these are flush to the case (they don't stick out) so unless you know where the keys are (power, volume) then you will need to actually look for them. They are a bit firm and hard to push in, but you get used to it and adjust accordingly.

The case is powered by the iPad using the smart connector which is magnetised. It connects SO easily as the magnet is quite strong, and the power comes on almost immediately. I was worried about the case draining my battery, but even with the keyboard's backlight on it barely makes a dent in the battery.

The keyboard has a row of iOs function keys - home, screen brightness up & down, iPad search, language switch, keyboard backlight up & down (off, dim, bright), media buttons (rewind, play/pause, fast forward), iPad volume (mute, down & up) and the lock/unlock button. These make things super easy to navigate the iPad without having to touch the screen. It also has a button in the bottom left which hides/shows the on-screen keyboard (in case you want to use emojis e.g)

The keys are obviously smaller and closer together than a laptop, but I found it was close enough to what I'm used to that it didn't take long at all to get used to it and I can easily touch-type on it with no hassles.

The keyboard can also do functions like copy/paste/select all/save using the cmd key.

There are two viewing options - one is with the iPad connected to the keyboard via the smart connector (for typing) and the other is for general viewing so the keyboard is hidden and the ipad lays down over it. It does not sit flush to the table, so it tends to rock back and forth a bit so if you're using it on a table for drawing, etc I would suggest removing it from the case.

Something I was super happy to find was that when the case is closed, there is a small gap between the keys and the screen, so the keys do not scratch the screen like other keyboard cases I have tried. The edge of the case is also magnetised so the case stays closed and it automatically turns the screen on/off as you open/close the case. So that's great.

I have heard reports that this case tends to leave two horizontal lines along the screen over time from the two places where the case does touch the screen when the case is closed. I have not had any damage done, but I can see how it could happen - so I suggest having a screen protector on when using it, just in case.

Overall I am super happy with this product. The biggest thing to consider is whether you're happy to deal with the extra weight of the case. But it's fine with me and I am loving it!

Logically Brilliant – Wasn't sure which keyboard to purchase for my iPad Pro...did a lot of reading and decided to buy the Logitech..yes it's not as sleek as Apple..but it does have a complete case cover both front and back. When I received it I was pleasantly surprised, it looks amazing, a really smart cover/case, great protection, soft inside, all good. The keyboard… Read more
