Disappointing - OK mouse let down by flawed middle button – It's a reasonable upgrade from its predecessor but has a couple of design flaws. First, the mouse wheel doesn't have a lot of grip - OK for the most part but on very dry days it could do with slightly more grip. Secondly, the mouse wheel 'left' side button doesn't have as much surface area as the right side mouse wheel button. This is because the regular left mouse button (1) is slightly higher than the regular right mouse button (2). So, your left index finger (1 - left mouse click) is positioned higher than your middle finger (2 - right mouse click). Trying to engage the left side mouse wheel button usually results in the actual mouse wheel button (button 3) engaging. This is extremely annoying in the heat of an action game, and consequently isn't useful - probably no big deal for something like an RTS or RPG, but in a fast paced action game it's really bad.

Otherwise software is good and response times & accuracy seem pretty good too.

Budget mouse would be preferable to this – The mouse suffers a hardware issue, reportedly caused by poor quality switches under the buttons, that frequently prevents it from registering a long hold on the left mouse button. This means that activities in Windows like dragging items are often glitchy, and it makes gaming frustrating in cases where the left mouse button needs to be held for important actions. Multiple comments in forums and 'fix' videos on YouTube suggest that this has impacted a lot of people.

Quality – quality build. sensor differentiates itself from others i have used, eg razer, steelseries, logitechs. mouse wheel has 2 modes, extra clicky or free spin for very specific uses (good or bad depends on application). customizable weight made more difference than i expected. overflowing with buttons but with good layout all are accessible. only trouble with the mouse is the slim profile. one third of palm is floating due to the shape of the mouse. causes soreness after prolonged usage. not such a problem after adjusting grip on bit of an angle. people with large hands be aware.

Suitable replacement for Logitech G9x – I purchased this mouse to replace my aging G9x I've had for 7+ years. Overall I'm very happy with this mouse. The thumb buttons are in relatively good positions with the 'G4' and 'G5' buttons very easy to press while gaming (I use G4 for VOIP Push-To-Talk). The lower button symbolised by a ' tagret' I find a little hard to press, with it feeling slightly out of reach, although having large hands. This may be purely to the way i grip the mouse.

After a few hours of gameplay i found my ring/pinky finger was a bit sore, this could be purely due to getting used to a different shaped mouse.
