Lovables Care & Renew

Blown away by the results – What is this sorcery!!! If it wasn’t for the fact it was a clear liquid I would swear it’s a black fabric dye! Says works over a number of washes but the first time I used it, my black faded linen pants came out blacker than when I bought them!! I am seriously impressed with the results!

This works - but Woolworths no longer stock – Part of my laundry staples it really does keep blacks black. I use 2 caps and as there is not much scent I add fabric softener Why is it when you find something good it disappears

Exceeded expectations – I was skeptical at first but i was illing to try i on my workpants. It was going ok so i tried it on my faded cotton blazer.. i soaked it overnight. After doing that twice, the fading is nearly gone! Very happy. It definitely has an visible affect on the fabric too.. im very happy to not have to re-dye my blazer or work pants !

It's true, it's lovable, it cares and it renews! – I would be lost without Lovables Care & Renew for Blacks & Darks. I'm one of three household members who works in the hospitality, so there's a lot of BLACK uniforms. We're talking several pants, aprons, shirts, not to mention socks & jocks, let alone our dark casual wear! I've tried other "black wash" products from other brands in the past, but they've not performed to the quality and standard of Lovables. I've been very impressed to see that the formula actually follows through on it's promise of the "renewing effect" after several washes. I'm also happy that Lovables can be used in ANY temperature; cold, warm or hot it makes no difference. This suits me perfectly because I'm a HOT or warm washer and many dark wash products prefer you use cold. I also like to let my darks soak for an hour or two and Lovables works perfectly as a soaker. For me Lovables is great value for money when compared to it's biggest competitor at the supermarkets. Honestly do yourself a favour and give it a go if you have a lot of black & dark clothes. I should also note I have very sensitive skin and have issues in the past when I've changed/tried new laundry products and I'm pleased to say that NONE of Lovables detergents have given me any problems!

Works, also Stinks! – It works as stated to start repairing faded blacks and darks - better than the old laundry 'blue' ever did. However the 'fragrance' in it is from the netherworld. I had two people with rashes and all of us sneezing, snotting, and streaming eyes from this aggressive fragrance. Makes sense as this product is owned by Henkel, who also make the poorly fragranced Dynamo, Fab, and Cold Power. I should have known. It didn't smell anything like so strong when I sniffed the bottle. I only tried it because a friend said it really did work to renew the clothes. And it does. To my regret.

Come on - would it be hard for them to go fragrance free? It would save them money in production, surely. Or how about an opt-in system, where you can buy from a selection of fragrances to add to your preference - surely that's a money spinner.

I had to rewash everything with bi-carb to pull out the fragrance, and it still stuck. Thanks for the extra water/energy bill guys. And the lovely return to faded clothes.

I still don't understand why companies are determined to be excluding those of us with allergies right from the beginning. It's so frustrating to not be able to use good products.
