For use in off track bushwalking and canoeing or for geocaching this unit is exceptionally good. Battery usage (Li-ion) is very good, particularly if you use the backlight dimmer.Accuracy is comparable with any other brand and acquisition time is very good.
Small and robust. Adequate screen size. Easy PC interface, particularly for bushwalking tracks and geocache downloading.Cheap accessories on ebay etc.
Using the buttons in cold weather or with gloves on is a bit tricky. Cost of contour mapping if you are unable to source your own.(Not cheap)

Be carefull where you purchase your hardware and software, read the small print before making any purchases. It worked well while it lasted.
The unit is lightweight and compact, easy to pack when kayaking / walking etc
The battery life was poor (8hrs if lucky). I bought mine from a company (who shall remain nameless for the time being) over the internet, only to find out that it was a recertified unit with 3 months warranty, needless to say it only lasted 9 months tops before it stopped working completely, guess what? they don't care.
