Highly anticipated !
So excited to receive the CE. Online demo pre-purchase was fantastic. Magimix staff super helpful. A little bit of reading to ensure I had the right instructions and I was ready to go. Cooked up a storm and loved the Cook-Along Butter Chicken. Passed on my old Magimix to my daughter so its double the love all round!

Quality machine
Thrown out my old old cheap thermo product
Bread maker
Mixer
Still working it out, had it 2 weeks but I find the display easy to use and navigate, I wasn’t sure what I thought of food processor bowls as a seperate unit, but I really like smallest bowl for sauces/dips etc instead of getting lost in a big bowl- had I the option for the steamer xl I’d had grabbed it but I find the steamer that is standard more than ample… I love that you can grow your items using the one base.. next to go is my ancient juicer… I do find with thermomix specific recipes I need to add either higher temp or longer. Again I feel with time I’ll gauge it better.
There appears a setting for Bluetoothing that’s not available for AU but not a game changer for me

Solid unit, enjoying so far
I bought the cook expert as I was looking at purchasing the Magimix food processor and thought I’d go the whole way. It is a quality machine, and delivers with processing. I am still exploring the CE side of it and am yet to justify the cost vs using my traditional pots and pans. Made a mushroom risotto which was YUM and very easy. Also made a lasagna sauce which was also perfect. I’m sure in time I will grow to love the CE.

Cook Expert does not disappoint!
This is the second Cook Expert I have purchased ready to put in a new beach house. I love the quality, size and warranty of it. There is great value as so much is included. With the cold weather upon us we have been enjoying the easily made soups in 30 mins and the ease with which the clean up is done.

Love learning my new Cook Expert
Love the food processor that comes with the cook expert, extremely quick and cuts much better than my previous food processor. Have used it to slice potatoes and make coleslaw, no bruising and perfect slices. Still learning how to use the cook expert, but have mastered it for soup, steaming and Thai chicken curry. Very impressed with the ease of use and the results.

Good investment and excellent customer service
I've been looking for a way to reduce my time in the kitchen while maintaining healthy food options for the family. After some research I decided to purchase the Magimix Cook Expert as it appeared to be the best of the kind in the market. So far I've only used it for 4 times but each time I'm pretty impressed.
Pros
1. It did save my time on cooking. While the machine is cooking, I can prepare other ingredients.
2. It's a perfect machine to make soups during this cold winter - smooth and flavorsome.
3. The food processor was impressive. It's ve...

Best Cooking Setup I have ever had
I love the cook expert because it is so capable of doing many things. I brought it to minimise, cooking many different pots/ pans / cleaning etc. It is ALL together and EASY as mostly once you put in the ingredients for your meal, you can just leave it alone. It also comes with the complete Food Processing option, so you don't need a separate machine. (which is what I initially brought, just the Food Processor). Much more capable with more options than, for example the Thermomix. You can make very simple and tasty dishes and enough to last for freezing. This is a 'new' purchase for us so we have only just made a few dishes and they have been 'wonderful'

A piece of wonder to replace many gadgets
The steamer is a great helper as I like to steam my food, especially fish. I have replaced cooking rice in rice cooker and use the Magimix steamer to steam the rice. Fluffy and grainy rice is perfect result. The gift steamer basket is a plus. I could use to steam a whole fish!

Amazing!
This machine cooks soups all in the one bowl and then blends at the appropriate time to make creamy soup. I also make meringue and it whips beautifully fluffy every time.

I found interest in cooking and quiet obsessed to use it
With the gas prices going up more and more I thought being on solar a cook expert is a great option to save gas. I was never much interested in cooking but love to experiment with the cook expert and use it everyday. Made beautiful bread yesterday, coleslaw the other and using it is so much fun. The food processor makes preparation very easy . Chilli con carne, pad Thai and many more meals are a breeze to make. So good I can do other things while machine is doing work. Study good quality and easy to change to the dough hook. Love it and will use again today.

Most versatile addition to our kitchen
After contemplating this purchase for months, we finally bit the bullet during the EOFY sale. It is just 2 of us in the household but with heavy work schedules and rarely being at home, the Magimix CE allows us to still have all our healthy homecooked meals without hours being in the kitchen. Food processor cuts down food prep time and the CE cooks food efficiently without sacrificing taste. It has also opened us up to a whole new world of recipes which has been very refreshing as we were in a cooking rut. 10/10 recommend.

At $2, 299, the Magimix Cook Expert is a premium all-in-one kitchen appliance that’s actually $30 more expensive than the renowned Thermomix TM6. But with three consecutive award wins under its belt, its high price is thankfully matched by its high performance.
A few advantages over the Thermomix TM6
On paper, there are a few benefits of investing in a Magimix compared to shelling the cash on a TM6.
The Magimix has a maximum heating efficiency of 1, 700 watts, which includes a 900W regular motor and a 800W induction heating motor. This is compared to the Thermomix TM6, which comes just slightly under with a maximum heating efficiency of 1, 000 watts.
The Thermomix’s maximum bowl capacity is 2.2 litres - and the only standard bowl included is just a single bowl.
The Magimix, on the other hand, comes standard with a 3.5L capacity stainless steel metal bowl, as well 3 transparent multifunction bowls. Each of these extra bowls gradually increase in size, starting from 1.2-litres, to 2.6 litres, and finishing at 3.6 litres.
Other Standard Inclusions
Other standard accessories provided with the Magimix include a steamer basket, mini blade, egg whisk, 2 and 4-mm slicer, grater, universal blade, metal blade, spatula, kitchen scales, a recipe book with over 300 recipes, and a free Cook Expert app.
12 auto programs
The Magimix is designed with 12 auto programs, whereas the Thermomix has 20 cooking functions and 14 pre-set modes.
Here are the offerings from the Magimix Cook Expert: Cook (pureed soup, creamed soup, simmer, steam); bake (pastry/cake, bread/brioche, whisk); blender (smoothie, frozen dessert, crush); food processor and an automatic rinsing function.
Points of Praise
- The extensive range of cooking functions available with the Magimix was widely praised by reviewers. The food processor was a particular favourite amongst home chefs.
- Food made using the Magimix is often described as being delicious
- The Magimix is built sturdily, with an outstanding build quality.
- This appliance was described by reviewers as conveniently easy to clean, thanks to the inclusion of dishwasher-safe parts.
Points to Consider
Since the Magimix features such a diverse range of functions, several reviewers expressed that learning how to use the appliance in its entirety would take a long time. However, many reviewers who had the patience and passion for cooking didn’t find this to be a problem at all.
The Magimix Cook Expert helped whip up many successful culinary creations in the kitchen this year. As a result, it's the deserving winner of a 2022 ProductReview Award for Best All-In-One Kitchen Appliance. Praise was strongest for the Cook Expert's sturdy build quality and its ease of use.
