I can finally cook
Thermocook Pro-M 2.0I was a little sceptical about the capability of the Thermocook until I started using it. Went from a novice to a pro cook in an instant. Downside is that I will have to start cooking for my family from now on lol.

Best on the market!!
Thermocook Pro-M 2.0Worked 15 years around commercial kitchen equipment and used several of this all in ones option. The pro m 2 is the best I ever tried. You can really do A Lot. And for who is not really experienced it is an awesome way to get passionate about getting some recipes done from very easy to follow cookbook pre installed. Great job people.

Great helper in the kitchen
Thermocook Pro-M 2.0I love my thermocook so far. I still need to get used to using a thermocooker as this is my first experience with it. Inbuilt recipes are great although I think it would be better to have all weighed instead of using cups, spoon etc... measuraments.

Fantastic product, especially for the price!
Thermocook Pro-M 2.0Love my Thermocook, and it's become a staple for our kitchen. The in-built recipes are good but, as soon as you've got your head around the sessions, you can easily freestyle using the basic controls. The quality of the product is good, and it feels solid. The only thing that lets it down is the screen user interface. There are simple things like the icons and text being too close to the edge of the screen, but other times the screen doesn't respond to an input and it's hard to know why. For example, if the contents of the Thermocook bowl are a
... Read morebove a certain temp you can't blend beyond speed 4. Makes sense for health and safety, but a message on the screen would help you know why without having to guess. Also, when you search for a recipe, click into one, but then click out it loses the search so you have to start again. You also can't favourite recipes when searching using the text search. All of these things are minor though and could be solved through software. The unit itself is really great!Collected in partnership with froothie.com.au
This is the best kitchen appliance I've ever brought
Thermocook Pro-M 2.0I love this machine. It makes cooking so quick and easy. The interactive recipes are the best. I've even been able to teach my husband to cook using this with just one lesson. Thank you so much. Cleaning the blade is the hardest part. Be careful not to cut yourself.

Fantastic for the price
Thermocook Pro-M 2.0This product matches it's competition by the horns in ways of performance and usability. Great touch screen and ability to input recipes geeat.
The only places where i would say it falls short are the top cup has already started cracking and when making purees it never as smooth as a vitamix will get.
Definitely worth the money seeing as you could get two of these for the price of one thermomix and in a busy kitchen i know what I'd prefer. Cheers

Questions & Answers
Why the scale is not precise? The scale cannot reflect the actual weight of the ingredients I put inside the jug.
Hi Grace,
Thank you so much for your message, and We're so sorry you are facing issues with your Thermocook Pro-M scale. To better assist you, here are some general tips that may provide a solution to your scale-related issue.
Scales Test :
-Check that your work surface is flat, and the Thermocook is not sitting on a join. Ensure the work surface is solid and does not rock.
-Avoid using your Thermocook on a board or a mat.
-Check the feet under the Thermocook to ensure they are clean and there is nothing stuck to them, such as a grain of rice or sugar.
-Check the power cable is fully extended from the Thermocook.
-Check the power cable, or other items on your work surface, are not touching the Thermocook or tucked underneath.
-Turn the power off and remove the plug. Then reconnect the plug and turn your Thermocook back on.
-Put the mixing bowl and lid in place, as you would when you’re preparing to start cooking.
-TARE the scales and place a full 1kg packet of rice/flour/sugar (i.e. something with a known weight where the actual packaging is paper/plastic) on the top of the mixing bowl lid.
-The scales should show the weight of the product, plus the packaging weight. It is best not to use a can. Record the weight of the unopened package and the weight shown on the Thermomix (1kg Sugar = 950g).
-After 10 minutes, repeat the test, using a different product if possible.
Things To Note:
When you do the scales test using pre-packaged foods, bear in mind that food manufacturers will often put in marginally more than the advertised weight (often 10-30g for a 1kg pack) and you’ll also need to allow for the weight of the packaging.
There may also be a variance of 30 grams (up or down) at 2kgs due to calibration tolerances set by the manufacturer (Optimum). This error tolerance is less for lesser weights. For example, for an item weighing 1kg, the error tolerance would be approximately 15g, so if your Thermocook displays 990g when the item’s actual weight was 1000g, the result is within the tolerance for error.

If all else fails and you believe that your Thermocook may truly be faulty, do let us know and we can organize for your unit to be inspected by our technicians. We hope the information above has been helpful, and please feel free to reach out should if you have any further questions or concerns.
Thank you so much, and we wish you a wonderful day!
Can the thermocook bowl go in the dishwasher? If not, why not?
Hi Amanda,
I suggest you only clean the bowl in hot soapy water as there are contacts that fit into the main body of the machine and could leak into the electrical parts if placed in the dishwasher.
I have cleaned the bowl by placing hot soapy water in the bowl attaching it to the main body, place the bowl lid on and measuring cup and turn on the machine at speed 1 for a few seconds, this gives the bowl a good clean out. You then need only to dry the inside (watch the blades) and your all done.
Regards
Steve.
Hi Amanda,
We recommend the same as Strop007 is explaining to you.
The reason for not cleaning the bowl in the dishwasher is due to safety reasons and electric mechanisms that are at the underside and get damaged when being in contact with water.
However, when having a look at the manual of our Thermocook appliances, some of them are dishwasher safe:
Thermocook Pro M 2.0: Only the accessories are dishwasher safe and the bowl we recommend to blend it clean. More about it in the manual on page 16: https://optimumappliances.com/assets/manual_pdf/EN/ThermoCook-Pro-M2.0-Manual-V4%20(online).pdf
Thermocook Pro M: After the parts have been detached from the bowl, the bowl is dishwasher safe. More about cleaning in the manual on page 14: https://optimumappliances.com/assets/manual_pdf/EN/ThermoCook_Pro_M_Manual__V9.pdf
Thermocook Essential: Dishwasher safe. More about it in the manual on page 58: https://optimumappliances.com/assets/manual_pdf/EN/ThermoCook-essential-Manual-V6%20(online).pdf
Hope this helps and if you need any further assistance, do not hesitate to reach out.
Wish you a happy weekend,
Froothie team
