Metabo FSX 200 Intec

Rubbish. I thought this was going to be great, given the brand. Lucky I got the extended warranty! Firstly as a surfboard guy, going around small curves with no sand-throughs welcome, it was great. Able to do fine work with great control and not too tiring. But - just under 18mths and bearings died. The store had closed so I emailed Metabo customer service Australia who were very short and unhelpful. They just gave me a list of repairers and would not initiate a warranty claim. Eventually, fixed just fine, 6mths later bearings again, now almost a year later its screaming at me again, and now going faster which can destroy a job instantly. Will never consider buying another. Makita is same price, DeWalt on Amazon cheaper. I know where I'm going next.
