I decided now was the time to buy something new.... I had no intention of spending more than $100, but after reading all the rave reviews figured what the hell, we hardly ever spend money on anything to spoil ourselves. Unlike when I was younger, I have been starting to feel the cold, even bought an electric blanket a few months back - we're in Melbourne and omg the temps were around zero for quite a few nights, so, yeah, no more cold feet on hubby when we jumped under the covers. He'd keep his side of the blanket on all night sometimes, he really feels the cold (especially my feet). Not me, can't handle that. First night under our beautiful new microcloud doona, no weight over my feet, I was like YAY. At the time I was in the winter nighty, flanelette sheets & the electric blanket were all on. Nearly died. Night 2. Summer nighty, no electric blanket...slightly better but still half of me out of bed by the wee hours. Night 3. Cotton sheets (oh hubby was SO grumpy), summer nighty etc. And we're talking mid-winter Melbourne nights. This is not an 'All Seasons' doona - unless maybe you're in Alaska, or maybe Tassie? (not sure, that's a visit that's on my bucket list). It is really lovely when it's cold, but if you're a warm sleeper, not for you.

issue with. When I unwrapped the quilt it was lighter in weight than I thought it would be but it felt great. The first night I used it was a cold night & I didn't put a blanket under the quilt & it was so cosy! I thought I might get cold but it was the perfect temperature all night. I was surprised at how a quilt that light weight could be so warm. The next few nights were warmer than usual & it was still the prefect temperature. No having to hang the leg out of bed or waking up hot. I'm really glad I chose to spend the money & go with a quality product. Would definitely recommend this quilt to anyone who is looking at buying a new one.

WOW its hard getting out of bed – It started with 3 standard pillows brought in December 2015 which are incredibly fabulous, then in April 2016 I purchased a Queen Bed mattress topper, single bed mattress topper and a queen size quilt. so light. Don’t be fooled the quilt is pure bliss, perfect temperature and in Perth we are experiencing a very cold winter, I’ve not yet had to add another blanket. The sheer light weight of the quilt makes it so easy to shake the quilt cover over and dress the bed. I dread putting on the quilt cover on my old heavy quilt. I found the micro cloud products I brought are of high quality standard and comes with 7 year guarantee on the quilt and topper. My son’s mattress topper homebrand I brought 18 months ago was nearly as plush looking, but after several washes the polyester in the pockets are separating , flat zones appearing and a foreseeable replacement very soon. The company is lovely to deal with and it is so nice to speak to a person when ordering, they even threw in a plush robe, still plush after several washes.

This quilt is without doubt the best I have owned. I was a little worried at first as it seemed a bit thin - but using it has been wonderful. It is warm and delightful. Do yourself a favor as they say. Show reply

King Quilt – The King size is smaller the the King size Quilt covers we have. I would order a Super King size next time to fill the Quilt cover. Quilt is soft but could be a little thicker/plumper. Show details

Disappointed – I saw all the great reviews so thought this would be amazing. I am disappointed as I hadn’t realised that this quilt was so flat. I would definitely call it a quilt & not a doona. I was after something with a higher loft as it looks in the pictures.

I have use MicroCloud quilts across multiple Airbnb properties and they’ve been excellent. Beautiful quality, wash well and still look great after multiple cleans. Highly recommend!

Perfect all year round – I initially bought a King-size quilt cover and then ended up purchasing many more over the years.
