Keyboard great Mouse worst I've used
Wireless keyboard has all the keys needed with number pad to the side. Love the layout but the mouse is useless on all surfaces, it works for a while then has a mind of it's own, I change the surface, then same again. I replaced it but the new one is exactly the same. Microsoft needs to review this.

Good Keyboard Mouse combo but
The Wireless Keyboard and Mouse are very good and I have three of them, purchased 4 or 5 years ago. The rubber on the mouse falls apart out of warranty.

This is an excellent keyboard & mouse combo. that looks very stylish and the keys are very responsive. But I have a couple of queries with this combo. Mainly the paperwork that comes with the combo is completely USELESS. It is all printed on about a FONT 2. So anyone with excellent eyesight would have problems trying to read this literature. Also the extra keys on the Keyboard/Mouse there is nowhere that you can find as to what they all do. All you can do is trail and error and keep your own list. The only other problem I had was that there are NO Cap Locks or Num Lock Lights on the keyboard. Apart from these problems I would recommend this product.

Don't buy this! Both keyboard and mouse have serious issues. About to throw brand new replacement set in bin!
Seriously bad going Microsoft!
So the mouse failed and Officeworks replaced the whole set under warranty (Really quick and easy kudos to Officeworks).
Unfortunately the replacement is worse than the original. The keyboard regularly misses the shift key and other key presses (Even with new batteries)!!1 The scroll wheel on the mouse sometime misses movement altogether! Though the actual mouse tracking seems to be a little bit better. I'm at a bit of a loss - this seems to be normal operation for this but it is practically us...

Know better, choose better.
I love the feel of this keyboard. 'Enter' was a bit hard to press at first but it got worn in. The keyboard feels smooth and even thought the mouse is quiet big, overall I think it's a great.

Microsoft make quality hardware
I have some mixed feelings towards this keyboard/mouse combo.
On the bright side, the quality of the product is what you’d expect if you’re paying $100 on a keyboard and mouse. The mouse is responsive and the keys on the keyboard feel good. The keyboard also has many customisable buttons to launch apps and change settings.
On the downside, I had to cease using the mouse after a few weeks as it was too large for my hand (I don’t have small hands either!) and so was causing pain which took a few weeks to go away. I just switched back to an old mo...
Questions & Answers
The mouse on my Microsoft 3050 has a mind of it's own. It works great most of the time but starts jumping around no matter what setting I have it on. The keyboard is fantastic but the mouse tracking stinks. the blue light keeps dimming and when it does the mouse has a mind of it's own. Any ideas why?
Try changing batteries in mouse. When blue light on batteries are being used. I use rechargeable batteries
I change batteries once a week where it needs it or not but that doesn't fix the problem it only helps a little bit. Thanks for your answer.
I had the same issue as you. Changed batteries, changed mouse pads, stopped using mouse pad. It is a very poorly designed mouse. I took it & keyboard back to the store & tried a new one but it was ju...st as bad. In the end the mouse just stopped working. Took this one back and replaced with a different brand! Hopeless. Take it back to where you purchased it.
