I'm having problems with my 2007 Mitsubishi Express Star wagon SJ series. I swopped engines and my petrol pump has stopped working. I don't have a workshop repair manual. I'm having difficulty finding the location of the fuel pump relay and fuel pump fuse so that I can test to see if it's the relay or the fuse. I have since changed the fuel pump as it was badly rusted, but still I have no power at the fuel pump. Can somebody help me locate the fuse or relay. I have contacted Mitsubishi Corporation and they refused to sell a manual.

Fuel Pump Replacement Checklist – 2008 Mitsubishi Express Van Tools & Supplies 13mm socket + ratchet 8mm spanner Flathead screwdriver Jack and stands or a lift Siphon pump or fuel-safe drain container
Gloves + safety glasses
New fuel pump with gasket
Step-by-Step Instructions 1. Safety First Disconnect negative battery terminal
Ensure workspace is well-ventilated
Keep all ignition sources away
2. Drain the Fuel Tank Siphon fuel into container OR disconnect fuel line to drain
Make sure tank is mostly empty before proceeding
3. Remove Fuel Tank Support tank with jack or stand
Remove 4x 13mm nuts holding tank to chassis
Carefully lower tank partway
4. Disconnect Lines & Wiring Unplug fuel pump wiring harness
Disconnect fuel lines (note location & routing)
5. Remove Old Fuel Pump Use 8mm spanner to remove pump retaining nuts
Lift pump out carefully, avoid damaging float arm
Remove old gasket if present
6. Install New Fuel Pump Position new pump + gasket correctly
Secure evenly with 8mm nuts
Double-check orientation and seating
7. Reinstall Fuel Tank Reconnect all fuel lines and electrical connector
Lift tank into position
Secure with 4x 13mm nuts
8. Final Checks Reconnect battery
Turn key to “ON” (do not start) — let pump prime
Inspect for fuel leaks
Start engine and let it idle for a few minutes
Confirm normal operation

I’ve got the same issues Ian ,, checked horn fuse AOK ,, would like to know where the horn relay is for 2008 model ? As for reverse lights ,, there’s no specific fuse for them , checked bulbs , replaced OTIS switch and cable but still no r/lights. Multi meter check on light terminals at rear suggests to power to lights so it’s either a fuse that I can’t find, a relay that may or may not exist or the cabling has been severed ( or something else completely)
I’m unable to find a wiring diagram for a 2008 L300 Express ,, if someone knows where to get one pls let me know.

i have a 2011 express van that stops randomly whilst driving still turns over but wont start. if i attach a jump start battery pack it starts straight away . i have replaced battery any ideas where to start looking as when i take to garage it never happens
