Hello. I submitted a request on the 22 Dec and received a txt saying in 48hrs I will get an update via email. I understand this week was Christmas/Boxing day but I still have not had a response. Any idea how long it’ll take please? Thank you.

What does this mean Your loan pre-approval request is now complete, and will be processed shortly.
A loan pre-approval means that a lender has agreed, in principle, to lend you an amount of money towards the purchase but hasn't proceeded to a full or final approval. it generally means they are doing some checks to see if you can afford the loan repayments or not. a pre-approval isnt always 100% guranteed as it comes down to alot of factors i.e credit scores, amount of credit enquiries in the past, income, outgoings etc
can i reclaim some of the repayments that i have made.
You should be able to redraw....
