Disappointing product – Complete waste of money. Battery time quickly gets shorter and shorter until it cannot even make it to their recess at school. Plan is difficult to cancel- you have to email through your sim number etc. I personally would choose another brand!
Terrible – Terrible product do not waste your money. Battery requires constant charging does not last 24 hrs and signal is ridiculous you need to be close enough to the child for it to work. Customer Service is a joke have emailed several times requesting cancellation of sim no reply.
My money moochers – Moochers I mean Moochie are really good at billing. Have cancelled multiple times or tried too! No lock in contracts….. Just a year of charges for a phone/watch that doesn’t work. I want the plan cancelled & my money refunded. Shouldn’t be this hard!!! Show details

Waste of money – I purchased one of these watches secondhand and after days of back and forth with Moochie's customer service via email it was finally realised that I needed to send the watch away to have a new SIM installed as we couldn't use it. I've just received our watch back today with a new SIM card and set it all up according to our instructions, created a new plan and we can't make any calls from the watch and the GPS is so far off that it's in a completely different town.
We've fiddled with the settings on both the watch and the app, restarted it and its useless. This watch completely defeats the purpose that it's intended for. Save your money and purchase a more reputable brand.

contacted the company repeatedly asking for my monthly contract to be terminated and a refund for the watch, but they have not answered my emails and I’m still getting charged. My next step will be contacting the consumer ombudsman, if there continues to be no response.

It seems to me this is a corrupt business that knows it's under-delivering but playing the numbers game to make off with as much ill-gotten gains as possible before it's inevitably shut down. I've reported them to the ACCC ... here's hoping they take action and swiftly.

Useless ! Horrible product – Do not buy!!!!!!!!! After taking a week of back and forth emails to finically set up. My daughter has started school and now can’t even call me. $30 wasted each month. Rubbish, waste of money! – App sign up has issues. Calling doesn’t work through app. Texts don’t have alerts to watch, slow to update, many many many issues and it’s brand new, just opened and setup today. Took hours to try to troubleshoot before contacting the useless email provided as a help desk. They take way too long to reply and no contact number. After service is atrocious to put it politely! companies reputation. we got it to keep in contact with her and to know her whereabouts at any time. I have sole parental responsibilty for my daughter so this was ameant to be a game changer for us. dissapointed to say the least I should have purchased a GPS watch from Temu for $19 its probably crap but its $160 cheaper minus the subscription. either way both are crap one just promising the sky and takes your wallet. the other is what it is.
This company is a scam the gps is never correct, my daughter was laying in wallis creek for the whole day the app declared , but in reality she was in class at school, they charge you a subscription fee for something that dosent even work. Can never call her the app just freezers, it does not upate anything, eg heart rate, steps, loaction, messengers. Does not send or receive messages instantly. It took 3 hours for my messengers to show up on the watch Its just garbage guys. If you want to keep your kids safe or at an arms reach do not buy a moochies.

it is in English, but the battery life is still horrible. It doesn't even last a school day (the whole purpose of the purchase). The app is clunky and doesnt work well. There is an issue where voice notes and photos dont sent (apparently IT is releasing an update to fix this?). The battery is my biggest issue, however. When I contacted support they told me (quote): "some customers think it would last as much as a normal watch would, which sadly is a mistake as our watch is more similar to a phone, than a simple watch that only displays the time.". I am so confused by this response, because yes - obviously - that is why we bought the watch? And why we pay a monthly sim plan for it? Like a phone??? Even charging the watch fully over night, low screen brightness and GPS tracking once an hour, it still only lasts 5 hours. All in all, I am disappointed with this product and would not recommend others buy it. **UPDATE** The direct debit didnt go through and the watch had to be 'reactivated'. Queue an "issue with the simcard" (of course) and the watch didnt work for a week at all. Now the watch is connected again, but it can't send messages, can't answer phone calls and STILL can't send voice notes. Customer service is rubbish. Dont waste your money. .

Avoid – Purchased a Moochies Connect watch in Jan 2023 over a standard watch both to set an alarm to remind our 8yr boy for a late morning once-weekly music lesson at school and to access the feature rich options in the watch. life was so terrible that the watch shut down before the alarm could go off giving the watch a ~4 hour battery life from full charge. Used the watch approximately 4 times over 4 weeks in which we attempted multiple troubleshooting to extend the battery life as recommended by the Moochies site and other forums. This was also tested overnight. The best we got it was 6 hours from full charge to flat. Following this the watch spontaneously disconnected from our phones and the app became dysfunctional and would not connect correctly again. Losing the features made it a standard watch that would tell the time but only for a few hours (due to poor battery). We put the purchase down to a bad choice and never used it again. I was reminded only of the purchase when I saw we were still being charged for the SIM. I tried to contact customer service via call or chat to stop the subscription but there were no options to do so. After 1 week of multiple email back and forth we managed to get to the point of unsubscribing but this required the watch to be charged and connected (again this took multiple attempts. Ultimately the saga of the watch ended after a combined use of ~16 hours and ~50 hours of troubleshooting and charging. The only positive comments were the emails from the customer support were supportive and kind.
Bottom line - Avoid this watch

To try and get the App to work once I was told to uninstall and re install it as there was a new App. They forgot to tell me this would mean the Watch would need to be paired again which needed the Watch to be deleted from the old App from their end. Issues have taken over a week of ‘chat’ to resolve because they can take over 24 hours to reply. Considering this only gets used on holidays and weekends it renders it useless for that period every time it plays up. Moochies please do not tell me to email you for support. That is the problem here. You have denied me a refund because I purchased it from a store except the product I bought isn’t faulty it’s your App and support.
