Hi Sue,

It sounds like a control circuit failure. I would contact the Morphy Richards/ Distributor ; I did on one occasion and they were most helpful. It should still be covered by warranty.

Hi - does the ice stay frozen in the basket? Or does it need to be transfered to a freezer?

THe cubes (pallets) are ejected into the basket that is cooled by the ice maker's refrigerated air circulation. The manual says up to 24 hours... I make a large batch (basket full )(takes around 2 hours). They are quite 'frozen', however there is some residual moisture, hence when emptying into an ice box, fridge ice compartment etc, they need seperating every five minutes a couple of times. I use a kitchen knife. Quite an easy process when you get into the swing of it.

Hi Anthony, thank you for reaching out to us. I can see that you have had some help already. The ice will last in the ice maker for up to an 18 hour period, depending on the ambient temperature. Thanks

Hi Toni, thank you for your question. The ice maker has two sizes which would fit in a blender. The ice is bullet shaped and you can make them in a small setting: 22x36.5 (mm) or large setting: 24x36.5 (mm). Thanks
