Mountain Buggy Pod

Wonderful product! A real life and space saver! – We were gifted the MB Pod for our second born on a return trip back to OZ. We weren't sure how this would be received by our 9 month old who had limited patience with the high chairs she had tried earlier. She was perfectly happy with the Pod! As frequent guests at the grandparents' and friends' places, we could take the Pod along (albeit a bit heavier and bulkier than first assumed) and attach it to any dining table or kitchen bench. This thing is wonderful and easily stands as one of the best baby gifts we have ever received.

Affordable, handy product – 7 month old happily sits in this at the kitchen bench. An ideal option as we have minimal space. Easy to clamp on, easy to transport and easy to wipe clean
Purchased in for $79.
Comfy highchair = happy baby – We bought this in place of an ordinary high chair, as we usually eat at the breakfast bar. It has worked really well - Baby can sit in it and watch while we prepare meals or sit there to finish eating while we start the dishes, without feeling left out. It's easy to fit and feels secure. It's also easy to take with us when going out. Our friends have their 2 year old still in it, as it goes up to 15kg. It is easy to clean - I spray it with the outside hose on jet function, our friends scrub theirs in the bath. Some people would say it'd be good if the fabric part came off to go through the washing machine - but then I could see a risk that the user may not reassemble it correctly, leaving a safety risk. A couple of design points which could be improved - the rubber clamps taste gross! Baby screws up her face if she licks her fingers after touching them. And also, babies love tags and straps, so the designer who put the brand tag on the side of the armrest is responsible for my baby sucking it every time, smearing food on the armrest and then all over her when she turns around. It also becomes a distraction when she is trying to ignore the spoon. For the same reason, the waist strap tail always ends up getting smeared through her food. But overall, a very handy highchair option.
Great fit! – Just bought this high chair to use at home plus take overseas when we travel. So far so good! Our dining table has a lip & skirting, so the Phil&Teds Lobster (which I originally considered) doesn't work - this Mountain Buggy Pod seems to be an updated & improved version of the Phil&Teds Metoo. Easy to fix to table, looks stylish, easy to wipe clean... Bub sits quite low in it though so might not work for very little bubs - mine is 8 months & quite tall. Feels very sturdy & safe. Has a safety strap that goes around his waste but haven't needed to use it yet. Very happy with this product!!! Only 1kg, and comes with a carry bag so perfect for out & about. Also good value at $60.
Really happy with it :)
