I ordered one Enence translator (for $89 plus tax) and they sent FOUR units (and billed me for $220 plus tax). Also, they NEVER SAID in their advertising that a smartphone is needed (and I have neither a smartphone or a cell phone). To top it off, they require sending the units to LITHUANIA for return and refund, at a cost for postage and tracking od nearly $100! I have contacted American Express FRAUD DIVISION for help in getting a refund to my credit card.
When I speak in English and require it to be translated to Mandarin it only shows the text. However, when I speak in Mandarin, it provides an audible translation as well as text. I principally bought this to help with a partially sighted Mandarin speaker so I need an audible translation from English to Mandarin. How do I do this?
Whenever I start the App I get the permanent message Scanning for Devices - even if I collect manually. The translator shows as two separate devices - V5 and V5_BLE. Only V5 can be connected too, but both will pair. What is the problem. Would changing the device name in my Bluetooth settings help?

i have set up my translator correctly. When I speak there is no translated response to the device. The translation can be seen on the app screen.
I received my device and let it charge all night. The device will not power on unless it is plugged in. It is acting like it is not holding a charge or there is no battery in the device. Is this an issue that is common?

Hi , Thank you for reaching out to Enence! We are more than happy to help you out with this. On the bottom right of the translator, you will see two connected attachment holes. Use a paperclip and pass the strap clip through both of the connecting holes. Once the strap clip has passed through the connecting holes, make a loop from the strap clip and drag the remaining strap through the loop to lock the position of the strap permanently.

I've tried this but in order for it to work the clip has to bend back up and it can't. It's impossible!
Using a paperclip is the incorrect solution. I had to use a twist tie off of a loaf of bread and stripped the plastic off of the twist tie to expose just the thin twist tie wire. I formed a small hook in the end of the twist tie wire to get in the one hole and out the other I then made a small hook in the other end of the twist tie wire and put the strap loop string in the wire hook and pinched the hook tight to the strap loop string and then I used needle nose pliers to grab the end of the twist tie wire that I had gotten to stick out of the other hole and then pulled the twist tie wire with the wrist strap loop string through. This approach with some patience worked well. A paperclip is too stiff and cannot be manipulated into tight enough bends to finesse the wire through the holes in the side of the device and pull the wrist strap string through. Hope this helps....
Slight modification, slip string onto original hook after it is in both holes, then close the wire loop and pull through. Thanks million for the success!

No. Google translate on your phone is a better choice...and it is free
It is the most useless device ever! It needs to taken off the market. Save your money and download an app. It works nothing like it's advertisement.
