Beware that adverse reactions can occur – I have used this product on my 2 year old and it was fantastic. I then used it on my 2 month old as he has cradle cap. another one appeared on his face, that went from a 5c to a 20c size. Both of the reaction sites have increased in size.

On a positive note, I have been in contact with Mustela representatives in Australia and in France. They asked many questions in regards to my son. They were very helpful and full of advice.

I would recommend this product again, but would be doing a sample test to test for any reactions in the future.

Beware of reaction – After reading so many great reviews, tried on my son to remove his cradle cap with the cradle cap cream first then this shampoo. However, immediately upon washing off the shampoo, his whole scalp turned completely red. Cradle cap also still there. Did not work for us, better stick to natural products.  Show details

Fantastic product – I tried so many products on my daughter as she had terrible scalp dermatitis since birth, and nothing worked whatsoever. Mustela foam shampoo worked wonders on her scalp and I'm really thankful for that. My daughter is 3 years old now and we're still using this brand. Mustela Foam Shampoo is surely the best shampoo in the market for kids with eczema/allergy/intolerance. Highly recommend it!!!

Not for me – I thought to give this brand a try after reading so many positive reviews. So I bought both Mustela Newborn Foam Shampoo and Mustelas Cradle Cap Cream for my babys cradle cap. Few hours later, i notice his scalp is dry and then hes starting to scratch his head. Then his whole head becoming red and flaring up so much that yellow stuff oozing out. very gentle, worth the price tag – I was seeing this shampoo before when I didn't had a baby, the mommas I know swear by it and now that I have a newborn, I knew I had to give this one a try. First it's very very gentle and I feel like my baby loves it. It doesn't have any sweet fragrance to it which I like (it means it has less chemicals) and it lathers smoothly. it didn't cause the newborn irritation.

saw both eyes were bright red covered in eczema along with a few patches on his face. Panicked I looked up the ingredients of this shampoo and saw it contains FRAGRANCE! which is horrible for certain eczema babies. I know this isnt one of their eczema association products but being a sensitive shampoo I was surprised at my little ones reaction. I accept partial blame here, I should have read the ingredients list first but again being advertised as sensitive enough for newborns I didnt even think to check. The extra star in this review is for the fact that it did help the cradle cap flake off with the help of a gentle comb. Unfortunately, I paid $17 for a shampoo I could only use one time.

Shampoo absolutely works – I used this for both kids and never had any cradle cap while in use. In fact, on the few days we didn't use it, the cradle cap started to develop. Would not hesitate to recommend this to others. The only prosuxt that works

minutes. It ALL came off easily, all the flakes were in the bath water. Her head was a teeny bit pink and it was totally normal the next day. Amazing product. Giving the rest to a friend. I got it for free at a private maternity hospital as part of a pack.

The only shampoo I’ve used – My baby has been using this since birth, the hospital used it and I really enjoyed the smell. Once I started using it at home I noticed how great it actually is when I didn’t use it and his scalp started getting a bit dry, I believe this has prevented cradle cap and the same time kept my baby clean and smelling great! Show details

Amazing product – We came home from the hospital after using these products. At home we had a different brand. Within a couple of days I noticed my sons head was starting to look dry and flaky. products in the hospital when my son was born. Came home and was using other products. Son started to get a flaky scalp. Decided to go out and buy this shampoo and with in 2 uses there was a huge change and very minimal to no dry/flaky scalp.

Love this! – We have been using mustela since my son was born. Shampoo, baby wash, oil and cream. My friend recommended it to me. Love it. Smells good, gentle on skin. Its not easy to find. Overall, we love the products and recommend it whenever we get a chance. Thank you mustela. Highly recommended!!

Flawless product – This product is so gentle and unobtrusive to use on a newborn baby. It is unlike anything else on the market as it has such a subtle fragrance and doesn’t get too foamy or soapy when used. My baby has used this from birth and always looks forward to his bath I believe it assists him to relax aiding his bedtime routine.

Great Product! Actually works! – This shampoo is great, so easy to use when applying so it doesn't run into their eyes and makes their hair feel great (and smell amazing too!) I have used it on my daughter since she was a newborn and she has never had cradle cap. I highly recommend this product!

Fabulous for cradle cap – Struggled for weeks with cradle cap (hair and forehead) using olive oil and various other products to no avail. Within a two days, you could see it disappearing and gone within a week. Tried not to use it, however it came back, so we decided to use it preventatively and never had a repeat of cradle cap It works!! A little bit goes a long way
