It's hard to describe how ordinary this service was. I moved offices, and the agent passed on my details without my consent, probably for a commission. At first I thought the service saved me having to call both my power and internet company, however I ended up spending multiple days fixing the errors, and paying double connection fees. connected me to the wrong electricity meter, meaning another building resident had their power disconnected the transferred to Origin by mistake. They also moved my internet to a new account, leaving my old accounts open, meaning I was charged double fees on everything. After spending hours on the phone to both providers, I was able to rectify the errors, but am unfortunately out of pocket $300 in fees. If you are moving house and have a simple switch, they are probably fine. However if you have any complexity whatsoever, don't use them.

my expectations. Josh was polite, efficient and professional. He answered my questions patiently, and clearly explained rules and options. He was knowledgable about providers and plans. When required to play recorded information from the chosen provider Origin, or read scripts, he was careful to explain why and when this was needed, and prompted me when our live conversation resumed. He apologised for policy requiring him to repeat requests for information already provided. Josh has an exceptional personal manner which I believe represents a significant asset for My Connect. I asked how I could extend a complement about his performance to his manager. He thanked me and agreed to send me a link. I feel that this representative, whom I do not know personally, deserves to be recognised and rewarded for the exceptional service he provided. I would welcome an opportunity to speak directly with his manager. I thoroughly recommend Josh and My Connect to others.

water supply into my name & a modem on the way all for far less than I'd anticipated paying.

I can't say her name for privacy reasons obviously but I would suggest MC should retain her services at all costs. She even offered what turned out to be accurate advice on where I could quickly source quality, affordable bedroom furniture. A total sweetheart. Give her a raise.

I will be recommending this service to others & I rarely do that because actually receiving service is so rare these days. It always feels like being used as a disposable resource but not this time thanks to the lovely yung lady from Brum.

Well done everyone at MC especially that lass. To her I say "Orright, Bab" Fond regards from a grateful old lady.

condescending, constantly cutting off my flatmate and shouting over her. He shockingly raised his voice multiple times, which is not the level of customer service one would expect. Instead of taking responsibility, [Name Removed] blamed Origin Energy and us, despite it being clearly MyConnect's duty to ensure our utilities were correctly set up. Despite providing evidence like screenshots and messages confirming our diligence, [Number Removed] went on the defensive and ignored the proof. His behavior was absolutely despicable; he should not be in a role where he handles customer complaints if he cannot do his job properly. This whole process was extremely frustrating, belittling, and shocking. At the end of the day, you're better off setting up the accounts yourself and doing the due diligence you'd expect from their service. Worst experience ever.

Tom was extremely efficient, helpful and enthusiastic when I called with a connection issue. He had knowledge to provide accurate advice and instructions. He made direct contact with the client immediately following our phone call and then sent a confirmation email in a very timely manner. mentioning that myConnect connected the water for me. I got very surprised and very angry about it. Without my permission, they connect the water for me, plus I have already told them that I have already connected the water by myself. How strange they are!

Worst service & experience I've ever had. The pomy bloke was a smart butt, no value or help, ended up just going with it as I needed power urgently. and then when I check the confirmation emails with Origin, he got the address wrong anyway, so ended up going direct to Origin, awful experience as a multiple business owner, sackable behaviour. would not recommend using these guys

Applied online, just moved into a new property with no gas. Everything was approved I was told 3 days for connection through AGL and that was confirmed via text and email (3 business days). Its now 3 business days no connection, was told by AGL there was no booking in place made by Myconnect to get the gas hooked up. Have to wait another 2-3 business days I was told. Cold showers! Great!

next day I finally replied to ask them to stop. I am not interested in dealing with anyone who does not listen to my simple requests as a potential customer - it indicates that they would not listen to me as an actual customer.

Tell ATCO do not turn off the gas at a property registered as connected through myconnect – I used my connect to ensure a continuation of gas and electricity between tenants. This didn’t work. Although gas was registered as connected from Feb 3 the gas was turned off by previous provider on Feb 5 which resulted in gas hot water heater requiring a plumber to reignite. My connect response was they knew this could happen. It’s simple. Ask… Read more

ATCO to advise previous providers to read the meter but NOT TURN OFF THE GAS as this will result in a disconnection of a service that is registered as connected. Give it a shot and logic might win.

Signed up for most expensive plans – Person on the phone was nice enough but did not explain which plans they were signing me up for, and put us on the most expensive possible plans with Origin energy. Didn't realise this until we got slugged with the bills. My fault for not checking sooner but would recommend avoiding this company like the plague.
