Worst wax ever – This wax would have to be the worst wax I have ever used. It’s messy, it doesn’t stay a honey consistency long. Its stringy like cheese on a pizza. I tried for about 10 minutes and gave up and threw it in the bin! Show details

Don't waste your money! – 1st off the wax takes forever to soften. Trying to get it to stick to your face takes both hands & a broken spatula, broken from trying to stir wax because melting instructions are wrong, only to remove a couple of hairs. I even tried powder prior to applying wax, that didn't work. So i suggest not to waste your money on this product. There are far more superior products which actually work. Show details

Absolute Rubbish – This product is absolute rubbish. The fact that it is on the shelves is a crime! I couldn’t even warm it up because it kept sparking in the microwave. I followed the instructions and even asked my 2 adult daughters for assistance. I read and re read the instructions over and over again and each attempt was the same: after 2-3 seconds sparks started flying in the microwave. Waste of money! Show details

People do not know – If people follow the instructions correctly this wax is the best on the market. So my suggestion is read the instructions and use it the correct way. My wife has used this for many years and is virtually hair free all the time.

Best wax I've ever used – Its a shame many people have given such a bad review, clearly they don't know how to use it properly. I've a purchased a large variety of different waxes and none have ever worked for me. This has been by far the best product I've used and the only product I will depend on in the future.

Never looked back, love it – Although it is stringy and you do need to heat it up a few times, works amazing. Once you know you just make sure the area is covered so no stringy bits get stuck. I've been using it for Brazilians for years now. The bits stuck on the floor are worth it for the results. And if super hygiene isn't an issue for you and you use it on an area with… Read more

thin hair you can always pop the strips back in and reuse. Harder process to heat up, but I've had a tub last a while for my legs.

If I could give zero star, I would – This product is absolute crap! Don’t believe the reviews on their page, they’re lies. It takes waaaay longer to heat the product than stated on instructions, the consistency of the wax (when it kind of melts & is cool enough to apply) is thick & basically unmanageable. It’s absolute rubbish & I can’t believe it’s still for sale.. Show details

Terrible – I had to heat the wax for way longer than recommended to get it to the consistency of creamy honey. It was like applying stringy mozzarella cheese. And as effective. Wont be trying that again. Show details

Useless! – Waste of money, smells wonderful and that's the only positive point. The wax basically cracked and never removed a hair, I've basically been peeling off tiny bits, hairs proudly standing afterwards.

Terrible, don't buy – Very hard to use and have to make twice the same zone to get rid of the hairs , took me 30min for half leg ! I will definitely stay with my usual strip hair removal.

I should have gone with the reviews - bad! – The reviews were bad but I still have it a go. Waste of time and money. I will be going back to good old strip wax. This wax didn't rip off, it kept breaking and only thinned the hair, didn't come off cleanly

Biggest waste of money EVER – This produce does not work. It is now in the bin and I am going to have to pluck my brows. I was lucky to get one hair at a time. Can't believe this is allowed on the market. False advertising!

Terrible, Nothing Salon About It At All – This is the most horrible wax I've used. I should've known though, cause Nair tend to have useless products for waxing. Waste of time and money and waste of a manicure! So messy, stringy, and takes a bazillion years to heat up. It pulls out like 4 hairs at a time. There is nothing salon quality about it. Should've used the money I spent on this product to actually go to a salon instead.

Waste of money – This product is a waste of time and money, is extremely messy and awkward to use, I had about 4 attempts same spot of removing facial hair, tried all different thicknesses of wax. A Lously product, shame Nair

Useless Product – After being a user of the Nair Divine Wax for a number of years, I gave this a go (Divine appears to be no longer stocked). I was so disappointed in it - it smells terrible, I burnt my hand stirring it (the hardened top gave way to boiling wax spurting out on my hand), and it got rid of one single hair. This is the worst wax I have ever used and… Read more

will never purchase this again. Sorry Nair - I know you can do better than this, if this is a replacement for Divine Wax, this is going to lose you many customers.

Terrible, don't waste your money – Takes longer to heat than the instructions indicate even in a 1000 watt microwave. Stringy, goes on too thick and removes hardly any hair. Waste of money.

Pretty useless – Isn't this suppose to pull out hair? Hate to disappoint you but it doesn't, well ok yes it does but only 1% of the hair it's applied too. What a monumental waste of time, don't buy this, buy tweezers - they also pull out 1 hair at a time & with the difference in cost you can also afford a bottle of vodka to make the experience more enjoyable

A bit of a disappointment – For the 20-something dollars I spent on this, it was hardly worth it. It heated up fine in the microwave but it cooled very quick - I microwaved it about 6 times before finishing the tub. It's also annoyingly stringy, and sticks to the spatula and your fingers better than it sticks to your hairs. I have found that if you pull the wax off quickly,… Read more

it is painless and you are lucky to pull out even 5-10 hairs. However, if you pull the wax off slowly, it takes majority of the hair from that area out but it is very painful that way. Not even nearly enough wax to cover 2 half legs either. Horrible to work with, and it's not a one person job.

Urgh crap – Takes off half the hair AT BEST. Even after 2 tries over 1 spot there was still heaps of hair. Cools really quick. Difficult to use. Turns stringy and goes everywhere. In hind sight I'd rather just pay $20 to get my underarms waxed professionally.

Terrible product – This is the first product review I’ve written. I felt compelled to write one in the hope that it will stop others from wasting money on this terrible product! This is the worst home body wax I’ve ever used - it is almost impossible to get the temperature right and it cools too quickly. The wax is irritatingly stringy that you will spend most of… Read more

your time trying to twirl it on the wooden spatula, by the time you finish, the wax will have cooled and is therefore useless.

One good thing about this product is that it is virtually painless, probably because it hardly pulls out any hair! This was a complete waste of money and I definitely would not recommend it.

Not worth the money at all – 15$ completely down the drain. It does manage to get smaller hairs but is ridiculously difficult to heat to a perfect temperature. The popsicle stick is effectively useless after one use. The wax is annoyingly stringy and stuck to my nails and the floor and sink and anywhere else it managed to wispily pass by. While it's warm and fragrant and mild… Read more

on the skin, it's not user-friendly, it's messy and it doesn't deliver. Now I have one patchy leg, one leg still needing work, a wax riddled carpet and an off looking tub of yellow plastic- I shall relegate it to the job of artwork and retire for the night. Don't buy it. Don't recommend. Don't bother.

Worst home body wax I've ever found – I've done lots of home leg waxing with a number of different products, but this is the first time I've contemplated throwing the kit out after three strips. This product is supremely bad. * It is sticky and thick and makes long strings that stick to everything in the bathroom. * It heated up too hot and then cooled too quickly. It even cooled… Read more

too quickly on cold skin near my feet and went brittle.

* It doesn't spread evenly: either too thick or too thin.

* It didn't pull off cleanly every time - I don't know how many stripes of waxI tore in half or left a stringy patch stuck to my legs. Then I'd have to re-wax the area. There's a real trick to pulling it off cleanly, it's really awkward to use compared to other products. Honestly a decent hot wax should hold together in a 2cm strip as you pull it back.

* It clung to the spatula and got very hard to spread. I had to put the spatula in the pot as it re-heated and it all slid off. Three strips later, it was clinging again.

* It didn't stick to all the hairs. I've got stragglers after waxing the same area 3 or 4 times.

* After all the mess and fuss, one tub barely did two half legs. My underarms remain hairy.

* Where it stuck to my thumbs and forefingers (after using my hands to unstick it from my legs the spatula, the bench, the microwave turntable etc) it has irritated the skin a bit and gone into the fingerprints. I've been using olive oil to gradually get it out.

* It even smells plasticky and squeaked when I spread it.

* The wipes are full of things with chemically names and they don't smell good either. Although they do help to get the sticky bits of wax left on my feet, legs and knees off, olive oil is way more effective and smells nicer.

Don't waste your money and time on this. Go buy another brand. Available in the chemist Sticky, cools too fast, messy, artifical, ineffective, uneconomical

Quite happy with this wax! – I used to go to the salon for all my waxing needs...then decided to try at home and have been using this brand for about 2 years now. Would be good if they provided more that one wooden spatula, and if you don't use… Read more

all of the tub at once it can sometimes be very difficult to re-use, as no matter how long you reheat the remaining wax it does not get to the desired consistency! removes hair easily and smells nice too. Would be good if they provided more than one wooden spatula, can be difficult to use on reheating.

Waste of time and money! – This is the worst wax I've ever bought. The instruction manual alone is almost enough to put you off - anything that needs that much 'cautioning' is too toxic and unstable for my liking. Not that you realise that from the outside box - you only find that out after you've paid your $14. This wax does not heat as it says it will, and regardless of… Read more

how much I heated it I could not get the consistency right. Just when I thought I had something to work with, the pot would go cold and after literally 20 minutes of trying to heat and wax I was left frustrated, with irritated skin and worst of all - still hairy! I definitely don't recommend this product. After wax wipes Expensive and doesn't do what it claims

Terrible – This product really gave me the shits. you heat it for the amount stated and it does not budge. So you heat it double next time, same result, so you go triple and think yeah it's going to work, get to a mirror and its cold again. huge waste of time wont by it again. you need to have a wax pot to use this one i think. cheaper to get the job done by… Read more

Messy! – I have tried this product twice now (thought I would give it a second chance!) but never again! Messiest wax – I thought the idea of this wax was cool - not having to use wax strips. However, I found this wax incredibly difficult to use. Not only was it really messy, it was hard to get the right consistency/heat and if you left the wax on for too long or if you didn't leave it on long enough, it wouldnt remove hairs. I definitely do not recommend. Not painful expensive, messy, difficult to use

Overpriced waste! – Gave this a second chance and regret it! The concept is great though it fails to deliver what is promised. The wax goes cold and unmanageable too quickly. By the time you get any waxing done you are far too frustrated to continue with the rest of the job as you constantly have to reheat the tub. Even then the wax is not easily spreadable. Waste of… Read more

money! Not needing strips to remove wax. Expensive, doesn't heat according to instructions, once heated doesn't stay that way for long enough ~2-5minutes, wax extremely messy and difficult to handle: the wax becomes strippy and dries too quick on the wand to get an even distribution, cannot clean the wand with water (regardless of how hot the water is).

Cools Quickley, But Great to use – I like this stuff, its so much cheaper than going to a beuty salon,Its can be messy but with patience and practice its is great to use.Its somehow less painful than at a beuty salon??Maybe because of it not hardening like a rock like the waxes used in salons?? off, while its still slighltey warm i use a butter knife to get it off but you have to be careful not to break it as its wooden. If you get to a heat so it runs like honey on the wand n wait a minute it is perfect consistancey. Bad – Home waxing can be quite difficult and messy if you don't know what you are doing. This product wasn't too bad but I have used better products. I won't be using this wax again. Terrible – I tried this because I like regular Nair Easiwax (with the cotton strips). I had high hopes for this product, but it just didn't work very well. The funny thing is, it's meant to be for "sensitive" skin, which I wouldn't normally say I have, but it irritated my skin more than the Easiwax. It didn't work as well as the Easiwax, either: it missed… Read more

Terrible – Complete waste of money. I bought this because I've had such a good experience with the Nair Salon Divine wax for body. This pot was useless. I could not get it to melt. Bad – Overall, it's not the best home wax I've ever used. It's so painful! Definately not for the faint hearted. The heating instructions are very confuing, it took me a few tries to heat it up properly. The wax is also very messy, leaving stringy bits all over the tub. OK – If used correctly in regard to pre cleansing the skin before use, this wax rips out hairs even shorter than 2mm. Unfortunately, This is the messiest wax I've ever used in my life. It is sooooo stretchy, and is hard to get the stringy bits to break from the tub. By the time you've finished twirling the applicator to break the stringy bits, the wax… Read more

is nearly to dry to apply. You need to apply the wax reasonably quickly once removing it from the tub.

It leaves a lot of hard waxy strings and pieces of hard wax that is just too painful to pull off. I removed all the left oevr stuff with baby oil. I spent a minute or so, rubbing in the oil, which seemed to soften the wax on my arm. Once the oil was absorbed, the wax just wiped straight off. Those mositurising towelettes are usless, just use plain simple baby oil to remove.

The one thing that would make me not ever buy it again, is the fact that my microwave smells like fragrance factory, even 2 days after using it once. It doesn't matter what I use to clean the microwave, that perfume smell still remains.

I would only recommend this product, if you are prepared to be very patient in using this. Very fiddly, and messy. If you have problem areas of hair that is very difficult to remove, then I think you will find his product to your liking in terms of effective removal. The Colour Messy & Painful
