Navman EZY270LMT

Very unreliable – Has worked only intermittently since first purchased. the unit would freeze on a regular basis, a freeze could always up until now be fixed with a reset. Now nothing just a blue screen of death. Doubt I would every purchase another Navman product.

Still working after 4 years – - Bought from Harvey Norman, Lonnie back in Dec 2015, with a considerable discount. case when not used, to avoid sun damage. - The map and OS has never been updated. ( Due mainly to unsuccessful attempts using the PC software to interface with it) - Over the past 4+ years, it's frozen or glitched up no more than half a dozen times, though always fired up correctly after a reboot. ( Also learnt to start car first, then fire up the device) - Unlike my previous one, a 5in and brand I can't recall, the screen continues to work properly. - Large touch screen is excellent to interact with. - Menu system is simple and logically organised. - Decent amount of options and features for setups and personal preferences. - Has worked correctly all over Tassie, though sometimes a bit sluggish, either due to location or weather conditions, but not enough to cause any manifestations of 1st world stress or annoyance.

EZY270LMT Total Crap – EZY270LMT is a total waste of money, navman products are crap. Never again will I purchase a navman product. Only used it a few times then it stopped working. Would not move off startup screen, wont load map, wont connect to the computer to use the disc to repair. Total waste off money, so disappointed in the product. Show details

Utter rubbish – Sound failed. Battery failed. Technical support virtually useless... . Basing support in the Phillipines really isn't a great idea, as personnels' accents make comprehension almost impossible at times. This is the second Navman GPS unit which has failed us... . Not enough stress in your life? Here's the solution, folks.

Useless – The first unit I purchased would not switch on so contacted customer service only to be told I would have to pay to send it back to them for repair. Not happy with this I returned it to the store and explained the problem and they replaced it. All good I though..!! to a GPS satelite for long periods of time making it useless. This unit is not yet 18 months old, and this battery has now died.

Will never buy another Navman.

Address issue – Just bought an EZY270LMT added a few addresses and saved them in 'my places' now can't add more. Can' work out what is wrong. Judging by what I read here it is probably junk. Any ideas? Can anyone give me an answer to my problem . Do I have to download map updates?

done not buy a navman warranty and serviceis a total waste of time – Bought a navman, had a warranty claim, 2 weeks old, they swapped it for another (second hand) one that does not have the same features as the one I bought originally. After more than ten phone calls later they have still not fixed the problem. Waste off money dealing with navman
