This is not good for me, can't update lifetime maps – It worked ok for 2 years, but now nothing I can't update my lifetime maps, sorry, I won't own another one ever.
Purchased in at Harvey Norman Batemans Bay NSW 2536 for $169.
Battery blown out and cracking case – This has been a great GPS, but recently it fell out of the holder and I thought the case may have broken. After taking the back of the case it is obvious that the battery has expanded considerably, causing the case to expand. Pretty annoying, as I need the GPS for travel and work, so will be off to find another one now.
Purchased for $200.
Hi Navman Team I have no idea what the date of purchase was and the GPS has been disposed of because I wasn’t too keen on keeping a damaged battery. Just a thought - why not make a GPS without the battery in it? The car already has one, and it doesn’t get affected by being out in the sun.

Regarding the battery, personal navigational devices are generally used on battery to pre-set routes prior to taking a trip, and the battery acts as a backup so you know where you are in case of a loss of power. However we will pass on this feedback for you.

Batteries expanded – I’ve been using it for a little over 2 years when my mechanic noticed that the battery is bloated. He mentioned that it is dangerous and could have exploded eventually. I never expected its life to be as short as this and especially dangerous batteries! Edit: happy to report that Navman has replaced mine
