Terrible – Unit was verry expensive and now after 2 1/2 years is nout of date with new roads i would have thought there would be a law about not supplying upgrades on such a item. Maybe they think we will just by another one. Well if i do it wont be a Navman. Some one must sell upgrades ???? Does any one have any ideas Worked o.k. two years ago. Verry slow to find sattelite. And can not upgrade maps

Excellent – I like this device. It works well and even though not supported, you can effectively turn it into a Tom-Tom device if you want (as mentioned in Pros) and forget about Navman's support altogether. Recommended. (or accents) if required, some are built-in and just need to be accessed by putting the SD map card into a PC and copying them over. ;) For example, you can have English male or female, or American male or female. Volume is good for listening while driving. Portable too, so you can use it on foot and not just in the car. Can download speed camera and red light camera positions too, and add your own points of interest. One interesting note is that the device is actually a cut-down Windows CE device, so you can actually format the SD card and turn it into a working Pocket PC, which means use it for games or other Pocket PC software, AND EVEN INSTALL THE TOM-TOM GPS SOFTWARE ON IT. Read that bit in capitals again! :) Just Google for "navman hacked" to find out more. ;) Not really supported anymore by Navman, so (apparently) no new maps. I say "apparently" because I haven't tried to find any (no need). Sometimes takes a while to get a "fix" before it can direct you (about 5-10 minutes).

Terrible – As a novice too hard to find GPS signal OUTSIDE OR ON DASHBOARD. Other opinions would be appreciated. We inherited with the vehicle Easy to read, and navigate through menus It keeps coming up with "Waiting for GPS FOREVER. only used properly 1 time. each other time we are at the destination before the GPS is found!!!!!!!!!!

Terrible – Navman does not care for hers customers.....Never buy any sat navigation...from navman...Shame on them...I have unit 1 year but can not update (BUY) maps with new city links and ...roads easy to use no map update available any more....very expencive units but no map update..I can believe.
