Wouldn’t turn on – When it was working. All good. Now it’s decided not to turn on at all, I get the orange light when charger plugged in but can’t get past the accept button as it freezes. Then if I push the back button the screen goes blank and I can’t get any response at all. This issue was apparently due to a faulty charger cord. They seem to be specific to Navman as another cord plunger to USB would not respond. Navman fixed the issue under warranty. I’ve had Navman devices my whole life and this is the first issue I have had. If this wasn't sorted I would have never wanted to buy one again. Thank you for your help.

Thanks to Navman the product has been repaired under warranty and new charger cord supplied as that seemed to be the issue. I am extremely satisfied with the service provided to correct this issue. Thank you

Returned it and got a full refund after 2 months of hassle! – (Sorry - long review). I had a My850LMT purchased from JbHiFi GeppsX April this year. The device has a voice command installed. Every time I want to use it, a message pops up on the screen saying "The voice command is not available in the current language" I rang Navman and spoke with a lady who instructed me what to do. When she failed to fix the issue, she told me that the device has a software issue and needs to be sent to Navman to be assessed. On 19-08-2019 I sent the device through JBHIFI GeppsX as it is more convenient and safer than to ship it directly to Navman. On 22-8-19, as the Solvup did not show any information, I rang Navman to inquire if they received the device, they said "yes, we received it yesterday" but it will take some time to get assessed. I rang them again on 26-08-2019, they said it was shipped back as there is nothing wrong with it, just the voice command that was not meant to be for your model. I said if so, why it's installed on it then? The error message should be "The voice command is not available in your device" instead, they said "we admit it it was our mistake". Navman asked me if I got a screenshot of that message to send them(!), while JBHIFI described the fault in their repair docket. I need to mention that there were 2 other issues with the device that I have previously complained about to Navman; the 1st issue, it can only communicate with a PC that has a fresh Win10 OS (no updates), the other issue was with the screen lock pin as I needed to do several attempts to unlock it. Because of these issues and the way Navman handled my case, I eventually returned the device last month (late Aug) and got a full refund thanks to JBHIFI staff.

I Agree – I agree with Allan about the brightness of the screen during the day time. I also have the problem of the warnings reference railway crossing and red/speed camera lights after the fact of going through or over the tracks. The messages aren't announced before the fact.. I'm really not impressed with this unit compared to my last one which was a EZY 260LMT

Disappointing – The GPS basic functions are good. However the two negatives are: 1. the map font size for street names is quite small and difficult to read. 2. the LCD display is not intense enough during the day, this is due to glare when mounted on the windscreen.
