Bad – Mainly bought for my trip to UK it was very helpful, especially negotiating their Motorways & Junctions. The touch screen is a nightmare, but I have yet to find a touch screen that works well Nice size screen, mounts well in car, performed well in UK with Europe map purchase, except for one glitch. Junction detail very useful. Voice instructions good except for some weird English pronunciations. Bought in W Australia mid 2009 with 2010 map upgrade at New Year. Maps proved to be at least 3 years out of date, with districts that had houses built in 2007 not even showing. Country roads very poor. Was directed up a goat track on one occasion, same route was also directed to non existent road, plus other errors. New Freeway extension & Highway opened late 2009. not even hinted at. Map selection shows Australasia but in fact only shows Australia, unlike Europe map selection, which shows what it says.

The touch screen leaves much to be desired.

I would like to be able to sort through a route before I set off, but the screen jumps several pages, making this impossible.

Bad – This is a lightweight and portable item which is reasonably accurate. It is not user friendly and takes a while to activate which is frustrating for someone in a hurry. The voice is annoying. Would be better if it gave street names instead of "turn at 100 meters", I am not great at judging distances and am forever missing my turns. Beats reading a Melway. I use one of these for work on a daily basis. I find the touch screen difficult to use, firm pressure must be used. I find that it is slow to pickup a signal when I compare it to the inbuilt GPS I have in my own car.
