Excellent – I've had one for about 3 years without any problems. Once or twice I've had to reboot it, but that's probably because I did something too fast and got it confused. Its great. The manual is a little hard to understand, but aren't they all!

Terrible – Good machine apart from the several limitations and the intermittent problem described above. It is the first HDD recorder we've had, and has made life more enjoyable, but if I can't fix the intermittent problem I'll junk it and buy another brand. Timeshift makes dinner time much more relaxed! Thumbnails work OK, but keying in titles is tedious.

From time to time the machine plays up: either freezes or reboots itself. We had this problem some months ago, and again now (machine is about two years old, so out of guarantee). Previous reviewer refers to rebooting, but I can't find any mention of this in the manual.

Having only one tuner, you can't watch one program while recording another.

Setting Record function is counter-intuitive; you have to turn it off to set it to record!
