Never make the mistake I did – It's been almost 2 years when we had done this photoshoot from this woman in Matraville. We literally drove over an hour and half to get this done. This European woman is a sham and could not give a dawn about the babyshoot other than her money. All the wording from other reviews here are exactly my experiences. She is so smart that she does not even have her business on Google maps so no one can give her bad ratings. People hardly go to product review. I was really fuming the whole time while I was there. I wish I could walk away from the moment we met her downstairs on the parking lot. I had more respect for my family than her so had to calm myself down. I really wanted to bash her if I could. Don't book even if it's free Picture quality is very average, not better than your phone quality
Warning!! Bunch Of Dodgy Crooks! – WARNING! Do not use these scammers for your baby shoot! They walked away with our money and told us we booked our babyshoot "too late" with no further consideration. My wife had an emergency c-section and was incapacitated for days in hospital. While my wife is recovering in hospital, (I'm sorry) but the last thing on our mind was arranging a booking for the babyshoot within their stringent 48-hour timeframe! They had the audacity to ask us for proof of the baby's birthdate! like the bloody KGB or something! The horrible woman [Name Removed] who answers the phone blabbed on about "terms and conditions" and abruptly blocked our number. I am taking this to consumer affairs. they cannot just walk away with peoples hard-earned money, regardless of what the terms and conditions are! DODGY CROOKS!
Worst photography, pocket ripper – We had a photo session of our baby girl with them a few days ago. Completely disappointed with them. Waste of time and money guys, don't book with them. It's not value for money. They only clicked a few pics and also didn't give us all pics. Its a complete rip off.
Please don't waste your money here – I booked them after looking at the website where they have some decent shots. Thought I'd give a try as they were budget-friendly as well. What a blunder it turned out to be. Total waste of money and time. I will review the Sydney photographer here as that's where we went. - From the moment we met her she was looking uninterested. The first question she asked us, did you get cash pointing at the atm machine which was there where she came to pick us. We said yeah we have it and she took us to her apartment, where the living area was the studio, which isn't a problem really. She literally kept asking for money and didn't felt the need to make us comfortable. We paid her.
- She had some props (some of them pretty old and worn out) which we used. She didn't suggest anything in the whole process. I was surprised. She wasn't involved at all and was just clicking pictures and showing us hastily. And then she would herself say wow, nice, etc.
- She didn't ask to do correct anything like hair, clothes, and the little things like that which a professional photographer would do. That's when we realized that we have been conned and she is not a professional photographer.
- I felt there was too much light in the room and I told her but she would do a fake light check every time we would change the baby's dresses and then she would again click random pictures.
- The photo composition was rather bad as well but then I thought she is taking multiple shots so some of them will turn out nicely. I was so wrong.
- We had the session for 1 hour but she started wrapping up after 45 minutes. Probably she ran out of ideas. Another red flag which screamed she wasn't a photographer at all. And in these 45 mins she came 5 mins late, we walked to her apartment, we changed our baby 4 times and fed her twice. The actual photography time was nearly 15-20 mins. And this is when I did some homework and took some sample photos from the internet to show her to click similar ones. She abided but wasn't clearly uninterested in that as well.
- We realized that the results aren't going to be great and I was fuming inside but our decency didn't allow us to say anything. So we left there without saying anything.
- Waited for the photos and we got the photos 4 days later. We got what we expected i.e. trash photos. A couple of photos came out okay but it was nothing close to what it actually should have been if done by a professional photographer.
- There was noise in photos. - Lighting wasn't accurate. - She didn't do any post-processing or editing whatsoever and sent us all the shots. She however claims on their website that they will give you "edited" photos. - Composition of the photos was actually bad. She took weird shots of the baby, cut my head or my wife's head in multiple photos. Some were just unsymmetrical. Some had too little or too much light all of which can be corrected in post-processing but she didn't bother.
Any serious professional photographer would take all these things very seriously.
I did reach out to them when I saw the photos to tell them that I feel disappointed. I didnt get a response back. Any ethical business would at the bare minimum respond back and apologize.
You won't find any reviews online for them. Only reviews you will find are on their website. All those are fake reviews IMO as they are all posted around the same time frame. There are no reviews on google. Heck, their business isn't even listed there. Coz if you do list it, people will post reviews. Quite smart I must say. This is why I am writing this here so save other people from this.
All in all, it's a sham and doesn't fall for it.
They charge 245$ for one hour but it isn't worth 50 bucks folks. You could click better photos with your iPhone if you understand lighting. Please go to a professional photographer and spend your hard-earned money better even if they charge you double that amount.
