Charger really lacks the "universal" in universal serial bus c, guides on network connection issues for the switch provided by nintendo are very unhelpfully, as are much of its settings menus, the x, y, a, b button layout is much more of an issue than you would expect coming from any other console as are the intended function of each of those… Read more
buttons, store is confusing, limited in range, difficult to set up, the console is underpowered for the games specifically made for it
Worst user system ever, the switch itself is fine but if you want to purchase games online or change parental controls it is near impossible, not user friendly and very frustrating. My kids 14 and 10 also agree it is not user friendly or self explanatory. Bye switch hello x box Show details

No regrets for my purchase – Been using the Nintendo Switch OLED model for 2 years now, and I don’t regret it in the slightest, many fun games to play, only problem is why do you have to buy a subscription for some games to play online. Show details
Nintendo Switch OLED – I purchased this black OLED version of this Nintendo console to play a couple games I really enjoyed from earlier console just as something to do to fill in time, turned out within these couple of months, I had purchased 15 top games, and array of accessories and enjoy the options of either TV or portable. Overall, I still enjoy this console, the… Read more
quality is pretty decent except after a couple uses, the analog joystick on one of the Joy-Con controllers had broken. This Joy-Con was replaced and haven’t had any other problems.
Didn't even make it to Christmas – These are not durable in any way. Be aware I brought the OLED version for my daughter for Christmas was pre-charging it and it slipped and broke. I can't believe that something this experience isn't more durable. Very disappointing. Show details
Great for the whole family – We got a great deal at EB games. My husband is a gamer so he had a stack of games to trade in. He waited for his birthday month when they were offering double trade in credit. We ended up having $300 of credit and were able to use this toward a Nintendo switch oled. We chose the switch as we have young children and they seem to offer more family… Read more
friendly and age appropriate games we can play together. Graphics are awesome, we love the versatility of having it connected to the tv or handheld and most of all we can all play together - the Mario games and Just Sing are a huge hit for us.
Must have for little kids and big kids – The Nintendo Switch continues to be a gaming marvel, seamlessly bridging the gap between home console and portable gaming. Its versatile design allows for gaming on the big screen or on the go, providing a unique and flexible gaming experience. The expansive game library, including both first-party titles and third-party gems, caters to a wide… Read more
audience. The Joy-Con controllers add a layer of innovation with their motion controls and detachable design. While the hardware could use a performance boost in comparison to other consoles, the overall package makes the Nintendo Switch a must-have for gaming enthusiasts of all ages.

Nintendo switch OLED excellent upgrade – I've been using my new Nintendo Switch OLED for few days now and have to say that the OLED makes a positive impression as soon as you turn it on. The beautiful 7-inch display immediately draws you in with its slim bezels, perfect blacks, and vivid colours – to the point where you'll wonder how you ever made do with the original switch's LCD panel.… Read more
But it isn't just the OLED display that makes a strong first impression. The enhanced speakers, which are now hidden underneath the console's main attraction, are noticeably impressive. The switch's ‘click’ has never sounded so crisp, and I didn't feel the immediate urge to reach for a pair of my headphones when playing any of my favourite games. I also really enjoyed the console's redesigned kickstand, which now spans the entire rear of the console, It's very reminiscent of Microsoft's adjustable stands on its surface line of devices, and it comfortably bests the original switch's flimsy little plastic stand, which could barely prop the console up. It's a massive upgrade for tabletop mode users, and helps to elevate the console's overall build quality in the process. The 64GB of internal storage is another big tick in my book as you’re getting twice as much space as in the original switch and nintendo switch lite. The dock has also had a overhaul it has had a USB removed and a ethernet port added it has rounded edges instead of the squared off design of previous docks the rear now comes off completely and appears to have more opening for airflow, I did test the ethernet connection and to be honest I didn't really notice much better speed then with the WiFi connection. Now to the real question if you already have a switch and primary use is handheld then yes it's a good upgrade in my opinion, but if your primary use is mainly docked use then these upgrades probably aren't worth upgrading from your existing switch
What you expect from Nintento – It's an overall great system for kids, family and gamers who like Nintendo franchises and want the handheld gaming option available. It's a great multiplayer system given the suite of Nintendo multiplayer staples but also offers ports of other big titles if you can compromise on the transition from graphically more powerful systems. The NES and… Read more
SNES games available via the Nintendo Online Subscription is a nice to have, especially when you can do online multiplayer. There's s till a lot of unlocked potential there, especially for other systems like the N64, even if they just limit it to core games...that should get more users onboard and retain interest for longer.
There are loads of indie titles available via the e-shop. many of those have been available for some time on other systems but for a first timer there are many gems to enjoy at a discounted price.
There are several areas for improvement being the dock that scratches the system's screen if you don't have a screen protector and the drift on the joy-cons. I avoid both by mainly using it on the TV and playing with a Pro-controller (which is an amazingly comfortable and very recommended accessory). The features in the menu could use some improvements, it's too simple for my liking.
$flushed. Kids don’t use it. Only had for less than a month. Antiquated – Terrible.....painfully hard to get it up and running. Can’t tell where setup stops and games start....no idea how much hand pieces are charged. Low quality games. Wii was better. I thought we’d have hoverboards by now so maybe I’m easily disappointed. Got it and two games. Want my money back. Kids don’t use it after initial play. They realise it… Read more
was sensing their efforts when they were doing none, giving false readings and stopped competing. So much for ‘just dance’. 2 hours of play and it’s now antiquated. Should be more user friendly. Logically made it is not. When you try to detach wrist bands the release button is in such an awkward place it is difficult to even push... etc. this lack of practical logic exists physically throughout console. You can’t make any sense out of it by looking at it. Gone so far down it’s own neiche rabbit hole that it is now streamlined for the die hard, never stopped Nintendo all my life types. I haven’t played since the 90’s so big gap in user knowledge. Frustrated. Wasted money. Kids don’t use it. It is less than a month old.

By far my favourite gaming device – The switch is such a handy gaming device to have. It's portable, has connection to the TV and you can buy accessories for multi-style gaming. (ie - dual controller, single and multiplayer options, motion control) I bought this a year ago and I am obsessed with it the game quality is also very good - Nintendo good value for money great device! I absolutely love my Nintendo switch – I bought this for my birthday and loved it to bits , The Nintendo Switch - OLED Model includes a vibrant 7-inch OLED screen with a slimmer bezel. The large screen's vivid colours and deep contrast deliver a rich handheld and tabletop gaming experience, I went for the extra memory and the Oled as the price difference was minor and I can really see the difference despite that , if you are going to buy a switch go for the Oled , you won’t regret it Show details
So much fun – We recently purchased a Nintendo switch to play with our kids and we all absolutely love it! So many games to play, we love Mario kart the most. It’s great that it can be used through the tv or handheld, so versatile. I find the quality is great which is should be for the cost. I would recommend the Nintendo switch to anyone who will listen! Nitendo Switch online eshop – The game console itself was really good. How Nintendo online eshop is terrible. I recently purchased a game from the offical eshop but the control and resolution of the game are really poor so I requested a refund. extremely difficult, compared to other gaming platform like steam. The customer service is almost non-existent, the only way is to fill an online form and wait for their mercy. So make sure you definitely want the game regardless of the trial experience when you purchase it from the offical eshop, coz you won’t get a refund if u re not happy with the purchase later.

Average – I am a teenager who wants to play games like Fortnite with friends. At the start everything seems fine but eventually you won't be able to download new updates and if you could it will 5-6 hours and the auto-update function in settings doesn't work properly either. The switch has really good battery life/charging speed and I recommend it to… Read more

A great all-round gaming device – Overall this is a great little machine. I am now in my 30's but grew up with the super nintendo and Nintendo 64. I bought this primarily for my 5 year old boy, which he loves, but I also equally get some good nostalgic times from the machine! The flexibility and versatility of the machine is great. It is small and light weight and all you need is… Read more
a HDMI cable and a power adapter of which it comes with. Because it is so small we find we bring it with us if we go away on holidays (just in case of bad weather etc). A great feature is the ability to play it in the doc on your tv, or just remove it from the dock, attach the controllers and use it like a hand held gaming device.
Overall I would recommend this to anyone with kids over the other consoles (I do also have a PS5), primarily due to the versatility and portability of it. It is also a cheaper option than the other consoles which focus more on graphics and realism.
The only reason for not giving 5 stars is the problem I have occasionally with games. I have two games that must have defects on the contacts or something but at times I have to put it in and take it out up to 10 times before the device reads it. Reminds me of the old Nintendo cassettes that you used to have to blow to try and get them to work. But eventually they do and all is good.
Great fun for the whole family – Got this for my kids for Christmas, lots of fun had by everyone since. Show details

Don't waste your money for the thing that won't last – Bought for my sons to play. They love it but after a short time , you can't play with it because the screen just pop up with different error code. Try to google it , restart the console....but the error code come up again and you just can't use it. Waste of time and money, better to spend for XBOX or PlayStation. The only good thing is the console is portable and kid games. Show details
Great Console – Good console platform to play active games. Love Ring Fit, Fitness Boxing and Taiko. Not recommended to play 3A games. Better have a proper console like PS or XBOX or PC for better quality. Show details
Worst experience ever – Bought Nintendo Switch OLED before Xmas for my 6 year old. After a month stopped working couldn’t charge or turn it on. Tried different chargers and nothing seem to work. didn’t charge me $50 but as for Nintendo support, one of the worst experiences, they just didn’t get why I was upset. I wouldn’t have sent it in if it was working properly. What product just stops working after a month. Anyway be careful if buying Nintendo Switch!!
Fun for Kids to Adults – The strength of the switch is Nintendo have an emphasis on playing together and across ages. So unlike more teen/adult oriented consoles you can have some fun across the family. That is nice. Being portable is also useful as it can go on holidays in case of rain! Well made, ours have been reliable and we upgraded to the OLED model which is worth the extra. The screen is a lot better.
I love the Nintendo switch has so many different area's to explore – The Nintendo switch is a great handheld console with great graphics and excellent mobility and service although not every game supports this console Show details
Awesome entertainment – Really liked by my son this little switch with full of entertainment. I love you spend time with my son on weekends. Much better than PS5. We lover Mario game which can only be exclusive for Nintendo.
Poor product – Stopped charging after a few months so was told it had to be sent away than $100 to repair or $50 to be sent back un-repaired never buying Nintendo again Show details
Good gaming console for more casaul games – I have had my nintendo switch for around a year now, and it has been great. The nintendo switch is perfect for minecraft, all the nintendo games, racing games, And smaller, less demanding titles like rocket league or exploration games and just casual games in general. While in more demanding games like fortnite, i only got 30 FPS and sometimes lag. defintley good. Show details
Amazing Toy – We purchased the SWITCH for our 5 yr old daughter for Christmas 2021. It’s important to note that we had the option to purchase the newer model with the OLED screen in the handheld part only. high quality as they are on the console so you may wish to think the worth of expending more.
We purchased all the usual games being the Mario’s and Donkey Kong.
We further purchased two extra NINTENDO PRO controllers.
As usual, NINTENDO Japan flies through with a super high quality product, and the entire family will enjoy this.
Cannot recommend this product highly enough.
At the time of typing, I could not locate the original receipt so you won’t see me as verified.
I did not expect this from Nintendo – I sent 2 joy cons to Nintendo for repair. I have received an email saying I need to pay $100 to have them repaired. I bought 2 new ones from Amazon for under $100. To return my property to me they want $50. It was an eye opener. Also it was intimated that they were both physical damage. One definitely, the other in my opinion was durability.… Read more

I must say my sons love Nintendo.
My opinion of Nintendo has gone from 9 to 1.
Hand tie – Game’s overall are good, but today my 4 year old son almost chocked himself with the hand tie putting it around his neck, I had to cut it so he could breath, please remove that tie from the device Show details
Super fun – The game selection is very wide and it's overall good fun. Only complaint is I don't understand why a large brand like Nintendo can't keep up with the times and create a product that has stronger wifi connections. Before we had NBN in my area I literally had to be near the router to download games. Show details
good exercise game – Great console as the exercise game is amazing. Really love it. It helps me a lot during the current lockdown, without it I do know how I could kill my time.
