think that their technical support may help you, you're probably delusional! First you have to go through the exhuasting chat ith a bot, that provides all unnecessary staff you didn't even ask for. You have to have hell of the experience with those stubborn bots trolling you for hours, before you actually force them to transfer you to a live person. And then they sell you the same routine what the internet providers, perform a hard reset of your modem, check the connection nonsense, restart your computer etc., etc., treating you like you're born yesterday. After that they send you bunch of emails, how to mess with operating system and change protocols you normally wouldn't have to and wouldn't want to. Of course even if you change anything and everything the NordVPN application still wouldn't work. So you start all over, the frustrating and desperate attempt of calling them, wasting you precious time and hoping for the best. Aa-aa! No way! Now, if you are lucky enough to get through to live person, they would ask to send some pictures to them, but they ould send an email hat exactly they want. This is endless, never ending story, ping-pong game, you call them, they dismiss you with some cr#p, it doesn't ork, you call them again, like a vicious cycle, until you give up! But now, I am so done with that. The program doesn't even open anymore. Although, the user name and email is correct, I cannot to login, because the password I've been using for past 11 months is being rejected. If you ant to save money go for something Australian or something like [Name Removed] which apparently is the best. I lost $200 after great discount they gave me for signing up for 24 months. Not worth even 20 bucks, rubbish and false advertising.

BEWARE OF THEIR AUTO-RENEWAL SCAM! They wont refund your payment even if you informed them right after they deduct money from you account. Worst customer service! I did not even used it that much because it does not let me play mobile legends with my friends overseas due to lag issues.

I spent days troubleshooting, thinking something was wrong with my Samba file sharing, Pure-FTPd server, or even USB hardware — only to discover… Read more

NordVPN was the problem. Before installing NordVPN everything ran fine: Samba shares between my PCs worked smoothly, Pure-FTPd server accepted connections from LAN clients, and plugging in a USB thumb drive never caused any issues. After installation, none of it worked properly anymore. Samba shares became inaccessible — connections would hang, time out, or give access denied errors even though permissions were correct. Pure-FTPd server stopped accepting LAN connections — clients couldn't reach it, and passive mode just timed out. The worst part was inserting a USB thumb drive: the mouse and keyboard would freeze for seconds or minutes, making the system unusable until I unplugged the drive. I tried everything: resetting permissions, restarting services, clearing caches, reinstalling Samba and FTP tools, checking firewall rules, unloading kernel modules — nothing helped. I even researched MX Linux's unique architecture thinking that was the issue. It was only after a lot of trial and error that I realised NordVPN was interfering with local networking, routing, or kernel events. In the end I had to completely uninstall NordVPN from all three PCs. The uninstall process was messy too — apt purge alone didn't remove everything. I had to manually delete configs, repo files, keys, directories, and even blacklist kernel modules. After rebooting each machine, everything went back to normal: Samba shares work, Pure-FTPd connects, and USB drives mount without freezing input. NordVPN has proven to be a piece of shit on Linux. It upset a perfect running system, wasted hours of my time, and caused far more problems than it solved. Avoid it if you value stability on your local network. 1 star — and I regret every second I spent with it. But I have to give massive praise to the MX Linux development team. Their tools are outstanding. MX Tools (especially MX Package Installer, MX Service Manager, MX Samba Config, and MX Tweak) made it possible to quickly diagnose, fix permissions, restart services, and get my system back in order without hours of terminal hacking that other distros would have required. In my honest opinion, MX Linux is the number 1 distro on the planet — nothing even comes close. The way they package everything with user-friendly tools and still keep it powerful and stable is unmatched. If you're on Linux and value a system that actually works without constant fighting, MX Linux is the one.

NordVPN Cheating – When I was checking out the total value was showing in $ and tax country was showing as Australia. But when billed it was 1.5 times the total amount, when i checked with Nord VPN they said even if it shows Australia they bill in US dollars, and dont specify that in their checkout page. I find this as cheating. They NordVPN don't have customer review page, but shows highly reviewed when we search and in their website.

at least 30 seconds, let alone trying do more interactive work on websites. To get anything done I have to keep pausing the connection for 5 - 15 min's which sort of defeats the purpose of having it. I have tried changing settings here and there but nothing seems to help. I am guessing I will have to try cancelling my subscription & see how I go at trying to get a refund???

 Follow-up  · We found NordVPN & NordPass in Dec. 2022, and have only had one minor issue that was quickly resolved by Nord techs. They just keep getting better. Subscription cost is a bit higher that what I'd like to pay, but I've also found 'you get what you pay for'. I still highly recommend NordVPN & NordPass.

disconnected the link to Wi Fi it would not even allow me to connect to the limited Internet available in China. I used expensive Mobile Data to connect to Nord and they were no help at all the little they told me to try would need total access to the internet that because of the fact that Nord does not work in China I did not have. It might work in some places but if you are going to China Nord is a total Scam and the only thing worse than the product is the Customer Service.

I used Nord VPN for several years then had problems with it so I cancelled it on 27/9/25 and a week ago they tell me they are going to renew my prescription and charge my bank account, I am still tying to stop them but they dont seem to be interested in and tell me maybe I have another email account, which I dont, so they are not trust worthy, so be warned if you ever leave them you will have trouble stopping them taking money from you
