Wow, just right for Fantastic quality pix and reasonable Pri$e – Sadly they don't make quality cameras like this anymore. As a retired pro cameraman I can vouch for this compact camera. Its reliable and only after 7 years has there been any problem (screen has vignetting at edges, images still perfect) If there's a weak-spot, its the scene setting, it can't do a sunset unless you go manual or use the menu to select a suitable mode.
Its light and quick starting, picture taking on the road is a breeze. People shots are good however if you understand the flash limitations you'll have an understanding why it fails to take large group shots in the dark.
Close-up is magical, ultra sharp images and perfect exposures... even with flash.
It fits snugly in a mans pocket and is light & slim enough for a ladies handbag.
Settings and functions easy to use, image files are recorded quickly.
I would buy another if they sold them again!

Terrible – Mine is going on ebay very soon, before I end up throwing it and smashing it to pieces. That second delay when trying to take the shot really out weighs any good things this camera could do. Has it's own red eye fix on the camera, which is handy as most photo places charge you to do red eye fix when ordering prints. The small size is also handy. But other than that there is not much I like about this camera. Most pictures have red eye, doesnt take a great shot. The slight delay when you actually press the button to take a photo drives me insane! You always miss the shot. I have 2 small children so this is very annoying as the dont hold that smile long enough. You always end up taking heaps of pictures hoping you might get the shot.
Good – A great camera at a great price! Very compact and light. Fits in your hip pocket for those lovely outings that you just never know when you may need a camera. Great size! Fits in any handbag to create everlasting memories. It takes wonderful movies so it means I do not have to buy a video camera too. Camera and video all in one. I love the scene mode where you can choose between sport, indoor, candle, self portrait, sunset, fireworks and many other options but the smile shot mode is great too where the camera doe snot take the photo til the person smiles. I have no dislikes. I love it.
