OXX Cosmetics Gel Effect Nail Polish

I bought a bottle of oxx uv nail polish from kmart on impulse. After opening the bottle i was struck with the most awful smell but decided to paint one nail just to see how it goes. Within seconds my nail started to tingle and so i quickly removed the polish and have not gone near it since. The tingle/burn stayed for a couple of hours even though I thoroughly scrubbed the polish off. Be aware of this product. Show details

If I could give zero stars I would. I've never bought kmart nail polish before and thought I'd give it a go because I've bought cheap nail polish before that was very good, however it was from a chemist. uneven and as it dried it lost its shine. I applied it yesterday morning and woke up today to find the surface of my nails are dull because they've been imprinted on by my sheets. 24 hours later and the polish is still soft. I just pressed into it with my fingernail and was able to make a cross indent. Absolute rubbish.

Too strong chemical smell. Can make you sick. Stay away – Too Strong chemical smell. The consistency is watery. Not sure if one would keep that. While applying could cough your lungs out. Posting a review with the colour and immediately had to remove it.. Feels bad for one’s health. Show details

Watery nail polish – Purchased this nail polish in K-Mart for $2.00 bottle. I purchased a green which looks a rich colour but when 1st coat is applied It is extremely ‘watery’ and spreads very streaky. The polish itself has a very strong chemical smell. The colour on nails dries extremely fast. At the moment haven’t decided if I will purchase again, will see in the next couple of days what it wears like.
