Battery lets it down – Light, easy to use but the batteries are of such poor quality! If you don’t use it fir say 12months the battery(s) are guaranteed to fail. Replacement battery is ridiculous price! Show details

Great little saw – Lovely and lightweight. Cuts surprisingly well for a small battery saw. I just leave it at the foot of my back seat and grab it when I see a fallen limb which I quickly cut up for firewood and throw in the back of my ute. I can also use it one handed for pruning up in the trees rather than taking up my petrol top-handle saw. I love not having to… Read more

wear ear muffs as it is so quiet. Understand that it hasn't the power (nor the noise, weight, cost and maintenance hassles) of a petrol saw. I don't know how long it will last but for $199 from Bunnings I consider it a bargain.

Not so good – Functions well. Easy chain tension adjustment. Controls work well. Not too heavy or large so easy to throw in the back seat. Only good for small jobs like pruning, no good for cutting fire wood as battery power doesn't last that long and you have to use the large batteries. After having the saw for a few years without a lot of use the chain oil… Read more

leaks. Basically can only put chain oil in when using then tip it out. My advice go for a brand with better quality.

Poor performance – Only one problem with this and that is the battery. Unlike other manufactures who use a common battery across their power tool range, Ozito have decided that this chainsaw needs a non compatible battery. To make things worse the battery capacity is a paltry 1.5 Ah which gives 10 minutes of use per charge and a charge takes 80 mins. If the battery… Read more

was 4.5Ah and a compatible type then it would be a worthwhile buy, but as it is I could not recommend this chainsaw.
