Paklite Astral

Can I rate it ZERO stars? – Exactly as the previous reviewer wrote this is an extremely poor quality item not worth spending your money on. After a couple of journeys the fabric is torn. Our Atlantic & Delsey cases are still fine after years of use. Avoid Paklite Astral like the plague!
Purchased in at David Jones Retail Stores.
Poor quality suitcase – The Paklite suitcase I purchased is a poor quality product, which did not withstand normal use. Anyone who is considering buying a Paklite product should be aware of the fact that company does not honour their own warranty. After speaking to an employee of Paklite I was asked to send photos of the damage to the suitcase and received a generic reply referring to ‘wear and tear’ and advising me that it could not be replaced or repaired under warranty.
The product is cheap and shoddy and appears to have been designed without comfort, ergonomics (or travel) in mind. The price of a Paklite suitcase is exorbitant given the inferior quality. The ‘customer service’ at Paklite is atrocious. I have owned Antler suitcases previously which were much better quality products.

Just to add, my husband's friends clubbed together to buy this & a cabin bag for his special birthday. What a disappointment to find it was unusable after such a short time. What should have been a reminder every trip of a special day is just a reminder we need to buy a new case.
