Lasted for about 20 hours – Cheap and nasty. Played about 7 or 8 DVDs before it packed it in. I only watch a few DVDs each year so even though it has been used for less than 20 hours it is about 14 months old and not covered by warranty. Didn't last so the cheap initial price ended up being a false economy

Terrible – rubbish, I'm taking mine back. I've bought players half the price that worked twice as well, and now I won't buy any of their products. nothing - you can get cheaper that are better It freezes if there is any scratch on the disk and you need to reboot the whole player

Excellent – I picked this up for $48 and for the price I think this is a great little DVD player compared to others. Great to use for the second lounge room or your bedroom. I have owned a DSE brand one before and it didn't have the features this one has on the remote such as 'Power Off/On' and in the Menu the options of adjusting the sound and picture… Read more

quality. Also the front LED display is a bonus as I have seen others without this feature. Various format playback, compact size and weight, remote control has all options on it, LED display, cheap. The max volume it puts out is not enough, so I end up having to turn my TV volume louder than what I do watching normal TV programs (- maybe its because I don't have the extra sound system for DVD's.)

Excellent – Very cheap - very basic but does the job - is compatible with late model hd widescreen tvs which others in price range are not. Sound & picture are as good as more expensive players. This is a multi regional player straight out of the box - will play your us & uk dvds happily although it is marked as a region 4 player.

Good – I bought this DVD player after a disaster with an Audiosonic brand DVD player from KMart: I could get sound but no picture. I went and purchased this unit from Harvey Norman, and for the price, I thought, well, we're already doing better than the KMart one (it regularly sells for $29 at both Harvey Norman and Dick Smith). I took it out of the box… Read more

and had it set up, picture, sound, everything. I am very pleased with this unit and would happily reccomend it to my friends, family and random passersby! Cheap ($29 when I bought it!), LCD screen on the front, tiny, easy to use, includes batteries for remote. Something rather minor: LCD on the front only shows current chapter, minutes and seconds, but not hours, so when you reach one hour of your movie, it resets back to zero. The Onscreen counter shows hours, however. No 5.1 sounds (but for $29, who cares?)

Terrible – Disappointed as it no longer reads the DVDs. Keeps saying that the disc drive is empty-sick and tired of it-will buy a new one after reading advice from other subscribers. Cheap Stopped working after 6 months

OK – For something that supports DVD, DVD-RW, SVCD, CD, MP3, CD-R/RW, HDCD, Kodak Picture CD at a dirt cheap price, this thing is not bad at all. This Palsonic may not be the most fancy schmancy among DVD players and recorders, but it does serve me well with my entertainment needs.

Good – Great buy for the budget conscious This is a very budget-friendly appliance especially for an exchange student like me. It does get lonely sometimes, and watching DVD’s has been my favorite past time. My electric bill didn’t go up significantly at all, inspite of the frequency of my DVD viewing. none really
