Abysmal camera, abysmal support from Panasonic Customer Service
Travel camera it is not, sent back twice via the Good Guys, the icons had worn off, it constantly failed to focus on any length zoom, the LCD congealed in cold weather, the camera broke down so many times on my 2 major holidays . On the second return late August/September Panasonic offered to repair it, I did not want it back as I travel a lot and it was a lemon. Panasonic refused to refund, except less than 60% of the cost of the camera, after 1 year 1 month of ownership and so many hassles.
Good Guys referred only to Panasonic's position. Af...
Bought this camera to take on our world cruise and cannot fault it. Took brilliant photos and videos. Only complaint we had was instructions could be clearer, this seems to be the problem with many brands. Otherwise very happy with this camera. We had a Panasonic Lumix earlier model before which was very good too but this model is even better we think.
January 6th 2017 Update: Follow up service Panasonic Lumix DMC-TZ80
Did not have a memory card slot on my Panasonic Viera Television and wanted to show the brilliant photos my DMC-T...Z80 took on our world trip. Panasonic after service was great in checking what cable I had to get to fit into my USB slot on our television and where to purchase it. They were so pleasant and helpful and its good to know there is a company out there that will assist with after sales assistance. Only purchase Panasonic products mostly as they are so reliable.
