Panasonic QTR2140

OK – After reading previous posters, I am surprised! My set has NEVER locked up after more than three years of constant operation. Picture quality is brilliant, seems to run fairly warm, but I certainly wouldn't call it hot, Brilliant picture on HD. One of the first HD receivers on the market, and great for its day, but still does the job very well after more than three years. User friendly menu. As previously stated, remote control is a toy, and not up to normal Panasonic standards, instruction manual is user unfriendly, and not detailed enough. My unit only says distributed by Panasonic, so I guess marketed by Panasonic, but not designed or developed to Panasonic standards.

OK – This set top box gives Perfect reception and ABC2 for the kids. We have only had one problem and that is sometimes you need to switch it off at the wall and back on again to reset otherwise it won't work. Perfect reception and ABC2 for the kids Nothing I dislike about it

Terrible – I think for a Panasonic peice of gear this one sucks. Itt should be recalled asap. I will think twice about Panasonic next time. Not many good things to say about this bit of junk The unit locks up and won,t change channels. The optical digital output jack stops working
