For no apparent reason, the HDMI connections stopped working a couple of days ago. I have managed to get HDMI 2 working again by adjusting Viera Link settings but HDMI 1 and 3 (foxtel & xbox) connections are not showing anything. When I plug my PC into HDMI 3 it recognizes the Panasonic TV but still no display on screen. I have tried turning everything off and unplugging everything but it does not help. I have also confirmed it is not an issue with the HDMI cables or external equipment. Any other suggestions?
Why can’t I get Freeview or 7 plus on this tv
Hi Elizabeth, you won't get them as an app, but you will be able to get them by pressing the green button on your remote control.
Recently when I turn my TV on it only displays a blank grey screen. When I press navigation buttons on the remote I can hear options being selected or changing but no image is displayed. Any suggestions on what has happened would be great. Is this covered by warranty or worth repairing? FYI my tv is about 3 years old.
my tv power on I replaced the power supply board and still the same the problem is when switch on the screen the screen for a split second lights up white what do you think is the problem thanks

The Tv keeps returning to the home screen and smart functions will not work...cannot access menu options via remote or tv. Have only had this model for a couple of years. Has it died?
This happened to us 3 months ago. Same brand and model. Do a hard reset by pressing the power button at the rear of the tv for 5 to 10 seconds. But after a month the tv died. We are now trying to get the tv repaired or refunded by Panasonic. Everyone with Panasonic TV you should check this case ->

Have had this model TV for about 12 months have noticed recently that when the power is turned off the standby light was always red the last couple of days an orange light displays. No changes to settings have been made as far as I'm aware would anyone know a reason for this?
If it is not blinking, and the TV functions normally when switched on, a timer recording has probably been set
external link .
I've had this TV for more than 12 months.
Red: Standby
Green: On
Orange: Standby with Recording / Standby with Timer Programming On
TV still performs beautifully.
Can I connect head phones to the digital audio output connection? If so what type of plug fits it? I have purchased a wireless RF headphone system (Sennheiser Model RS120 II)
Regards Neville
Hi Neville, There are no analog outputs on this TV model. You will need a digital optical "toslink" cable, and a digital to analog audio converter that has a female optical input at one end, and a female 3.5mm stereo output jack at the other end. As far as I am aware these devices will not transmit dolby or dts signal so you need to turn this off in the TV settings, and use the "PCM" option.

Note: I searched for these accessories using Google so I can't guarantee they will work. There might be cheaper ones available if you search "digital to analog audio converter" but make sure you don't end up with the reverse (analog to digital converter).
Check with Panasonic to be sure also.
Neville As above, there are no analog outputs for headphones. I believe there is a HDMI Audio Output as well as a separate optical Digital output. So you would need to get an amplifier to connect to the TV then use your analog headphones.
You can download the manuals from Panasonic Australia website.
