What a lemon – Stand doesn' rotate, keeps switching off in tv mode for no reason, no response to remote or on board buttons, no online manual availlable on Panasonic website DON'T GO THERE. What a waste of time money effort. Go out and buy a cheapie at least you'll be able to watch it, chuck when it breaks ,get a new one and still be ahead!

Why can't I play movie files from my memory stick? – TV is great and easy to use but no matter how I encode movie files I just can't get the tv to recognize them. It can see the memory stick but tells me I don't have any valid files on it. Spoke to Panasonic and they weren't a huge amount of help apart from saying this TV is very picky about what it will play. Someone please help as its driving m nuts. Great picture. Won't let me play movie files from an external drive

I have had this 54 inch plasma for 18 months. Regularly cannot get ABC but can get it in another room on an LG unit. Had antenna and cables checked, purchased a booster and good antenna cable, still lousy or no ABC reception. Wrote to Panasonic...they phoned and were very unhelpful. Wont buy a Panasonic anything again.

Lucky we have our old 42" LG LCD to watch. Contrary to what others say the old LG LCD delivers a far superior picture than the 2 failed plasmas ever did. The LG has been a great stand by while our two Panasonic plasmas have failed on us. I might be willing to risk Panasonic again but definitely not plasma of any kind, longevity is not their forte.

For the price-nothing better – I've had my S series 42" for approx 18mths now and absolutly love it. Panasonic have always been the leaders in Plasma technology, and this, even though it's a cheaper model, compares picture wise to much more expensive TV's today. LCD (LED) was never an option for me as I require a television without motion blur and a half reasonable colour palate.

Buy Panasonic over any other brand with the confidence that you're buying the best Plasma's you can buy (If you have to have an LCD get another brand) Not as bright as an LCD, reliable, great picture, wonderful blacks while maintaining great colour, not as bright as an LCD Not as bright as an LCD, does get screen burn when playing games-although this disapears very quickly when reverting back to normal Television or Movie watching (not permanent)

OK – We have had the Viera 50" for 5 months now and it took quite some time to get used to the size. Insallation and tunning was very simple and user friendly, follow the prompts and we could not go wrong. It is extremly heavy compared to other Plasmas it took 3 of us to lift it on to the cabinet. I have just purchased a new cleaning cloth which is a dust grabber as I found no matter how mant times a day we would wipe it down with a normal cloth it would just push the dust around the polished surface. Classy looking TV Hard to keep clean
