Pestrol Lithium Electric Sprayer 5L — Dud – The Pestrol Lithium Electric Sprayer (5L) I purchased from Pestrol Australia for $89.90 on 17 March 2024 is, without doubt, the worst product I have ever purchased. As requested, I sent Pestrol a product review straight after I water-tested the sprayer. My review focused on Pestrol’s marketing image not satisfactorily showing the highly opaque nature of the 5L container and also the spray nozzle mechanism shifting the spray pattern from fine mist to jet stream at the slightest adjustment. The photo attached to this review shows the sprayer with 3.5L of liquid in the container, not that you could tell without removing the major filler handle. My review was not published on the Pestrol website.
Yet worse was to come. Before actually using the sprayer for the first time with herbicide, I discovered the plastic side filler cap had cracked while just sitting in the garden shed. With the cap heavily taped, I managed to pressurise the container. Whilst using the sprayer, the plastic sheath that secures the lance to the end of the trigger mechanism cracked and the imbedded plastic joiner connecting the other end of the trigger mechanism to the tube also snapped, rendering the sprayer useless. The broken components are shown in the attached photo, as is the meagre lance extended to its full 40cm length.
My message is — be wary of purchasing this particular Electric Sprayer and maybe other Pestrol branded spray products.

Hey Sweenie-Todd Sad to see you've experienced some issues with your sprayer, without a name or an order number it would be a bit difficult for me to see whether or not you've reached out to us when you encountered these issues.

For your comments on our images, I don't know how we can address that to make it a bit more evident on what you're buying, we have multiple images from multiple angles allowing you to see pretty much every part of the sprayer, but we will try and see what we can do!
Very strange that the cap just happened to break while being idle in the shed, did you perhaps notice anything out of sorts with it before you had stored it away? A hairline crack or something to that effect?
