VerifiedHi,
Can avent milk bottle warmer fit any size of bottle of any brand?
Thank you
Hi Thanh, thank you for your question. The Avent Electric Bottle and Baby Food Warmer is compatible with any Philips Avent bottles (except the Philips Avent 2oz/60ml bottles), storage cups, food jars/tins as well as any other brand of baby bottles which fit in the bottle warmer. Philips Avent breast milk bags cannot be used in this bottle warmer. What's the deal with the settings? I've only used it on setting number 3.
I believe some people use it to keep a bottle warm 24/7 on the lower settings. I have only ever used it on setting 3 myself as we stored milk in fridge and heated bottles when needed. My Bub was breastfed 90% in the first 4 months and only had expressed bottles about once a day for the "dad feed."
I do the same. I only use 3. The first two seem to be very weak! Read the manual, cos it says you shouldn't keep it warm 24/7.
Hi Natty. Setting 3 is a safe choice for baby food jars and Avent natural bottles. However, when using thinner material, we advise to use lower settings, as using a higher selection may cause liners to burst.
What's the difference between the ELECTRIC bottle warmer & DIGITAL bottle warmer? Do you need to put water in the digital warmer? Does the electric warmer comes with a lid? Thanks.
Hi, I don't have the digital warmer so I'm not sure what different features that has compared to the electric warmer. The electric warmer does not have a lid, that is on the digital warmer. You do have to put water in the electric warmer but I don't know if you have to with the digital warmer.
Cheers :)
Hi Susi, The Philips AVENT electric warmer is an open topped warmer (no lid) and has a simple dial with three temperature settings. Frozen milk/food can be defrosted on setting one, disposable bottle bags warmed on setting two and standard bottles and cups warmed on setting three.
The unit is semi-automatic, it has an alert light when the bottle has been warmed to feeding temperature but does not have an automatic cut off switch, it required manually turning off at the power point.
The Philips AVENT digital warmer is a more high tech version and can be programmed more specifically. You can select between solids and liquids, and whether the contents are frozen, refrigerated or at room temperature. You can also program the number of mils. in the bottle.
This warmer has a lid and so uses the warmth of the water along with the heat from any steam produced for faster heating.
We hope you find this information useful.
